Default Celestino Caballero vs. Lorenzo Parra?

Heard something about this but I can't any real confirmation.

It is listed as being set on boxrec, for whatever that's worth as boxrec has obviously jumped the gun before. Listed as being late next month

Would be a big jump in weight for Parra. I know he had problems making 112 but you would think the most he would jump would be to maybe 118. Instead he goes to 122 and fights a gigantic 122 pounder?

This might not come off though, a bit too early to tell.

Parra is an outstanding fighter when he's 100% healthy. I'll pick him to beat Caballero if this fight comes out

I like Parra too but 122, against that freak? I don't know man. He's a better fighter P4P no doubt but I'd like to see how he looks at 122 first.

I dunno what's in the mind of Team Parra, Caballero is the most avoided 122 champ... Unorthodox, awkward, tall, rangy freak ...

Even Vazquez, Rafa, Ponce DeLeon will have second thoughts of taking a fight with Celestino "THE TOWERING INFERNO" Caballero...

I also think Parra is an outstanding fighter when he's in top shape but a jump that high would not be wise IMO. Like Oumafan said 118 would be a more suitable weight. I think Caballero would win.

Anyone heard anything about the Mundine/ Kessler fight? I saw on ESPN's schedule they had it down for May 8th I think but haven't heard anything confirmed

Parra was an outstanding fighter but he is unproven at this weight and Caballero is huge for 122 and a very good fighter in his own right. I heavily favor Caballero given his size, style, and Parras recent inconsistency and move up in weight.

Parra has already fought one time 122. It was a bum he beat. But it allowed him to get a feel for the weight. If he's 100% healthy. Which I believe he is. He'll beat Caballero

I usually agree with a lot of your picks VD but in this case i'd have to take Caballero. His height and general size advantage will be too much for Parra. I think jumping from 112 to 122 might be too much for Parra to overcome.

Think he'd have a better chance against PDL actually.

Caballero is severely underrated. Cab by decision.
