Tagline for the fight
"Cashing in on Yesterday"
Dan Rafael reported this a couple of weeks ago. They are going to fight on the Best Damn Sports show. And they are fighting for very little money, as both guys know that they need to get back to the big time.
ACHOO !! damn cold
Toney should retire and to think about it so should rahman.
Im a Toney fan, but have a hard time seeing this as a fight that will appeal to many. To be honest Im a little scared by Toney. He hasnt fought in an age!! And he probably hasnt been on a diet.
Its a shame because his spell at heavyweight could have been very, very good. He completely lost it with the weight though. He should have been 220 and beaten Rahman first time out.
Well, what can you do. You cannot train for them.![]()
I respect the fact that you're a Toney fan. I admired him when he started out as middleweight, but by the time he had bloated up to heavyweight, and given his "off-ring" personality (which I really don't like), I was totally put off by the man. And since I've always been against this circus we today call "the heavyweight division", I could care less whether Toney ever fights again.
Thats fair enough. He hasnt presented himself as one that you can feel all that sympathetic about. I am curious about Toney though...it could be a disaster but I do kind of want to see him fight. Im not all that hopeful though. He's been linked to a number of fights and nothing has happened at all....could be the end of Toney.
