In a moment of full clarity....I asked if any one saw similarities between Soto And Margarito some time ago ? And yes.....I see a couple but would not rate him a capable doppleganger Of Tony Lol.He is aggressive and Frontal, has a varied arsenal and some nice range.....thats pretty much it though Imo.Level of comp defiantly in different leagues.

Both of them, has very nice uppercuts. Though on the power department, tony dominates easily.

The stamina/endurance increase late, level of adversity experienced and ability to impose ones natural strengths separate Soto/Margarito as well.I think over all Pac can Decide how this one will go but Soto will be after him and not a walk in the park.

Who the hell names Soto "Little Margarito"?
That's pretty stupid there is no way Sotos the Little Margarito.
Who ever did that needs to watch more of "La Zorrita" cause he is not Margarito.
Anyway this is the question that's been bugging me about soto. Do you know what "la zorrita" mean? Is it little zorro?
    Well not really.
It's kinda hard to explain. In spanish some words are defined as male/female in the last letter.
"O" is for male and "A" is for female.
In english fox is used for both in spanish Zorro is male Zorra is female.
    It's hard to explain....
I think in this case it would be necessary to ask him how the nickname came about.
For the most part peoples whos nicknames are Zorrita it has to do with them at one point or another having long hair. In a Fox Tail-like form I'm not sure if this is the case here.

So zorro is fox in spanish? Wow. I thought it's just the name of the mexican superhero.
Well i think based on your evplanation,it's more on being as "cunning like a fox" i guess.

Soto is no mini Margarito. Bobby Pac had him hurt and he isnt a puncher . I duno why Pac is facing Soto. who lost to Guzman then originally got dqd in his last fight . why not face a guy on a winning streak for a change ?

I'll give you Soto losing to Guzman but everyone knows his last fight was no DQ. Just another clusterf*ck by Cortez!

Oh yeah no doubt . Cortez messed up royally!

He took 10 minutes and asked people ringside b4 making his decision . Surely thats enough for the commission to see that he should never ref again .

Soto is a puncher, a strong one. Just because he was beaten by a faster slick boxer like Guzman does not make him less dangerous, think about Margarito losing to Williams.

Although Pac's handspeed and overall game wins this handily, what other Lightweight is available to Pac? Campbell facing Guzman, Diaz facing Kats, Casamayor facing JMM. Soto is the best option and even though Pac wins this by a landslide, the styles of the two fighters will make for an exciting fight.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I've read it from several boxing websites and forums. I think people saw some similarities between Soto and Margarito. Hugo Cazares also sometimes referred to as a mini-Margarito...
