this would have been a funny sight, wish I was there.

One of my mate's is a right character... Gym rat but loves going out. Everybody round town knows him. Sound as anything has a dead funny way about him.

We always joke he can only think in the moment, we went looking for a new car with him, he was gonna look around and buy one in a few weeks... ends up trying the first one he says... from then on he could be seen driving around Newcastle with a massive grin on his face. Loves the car.

Always manages to prang the thing... speeds about like anybody's buisiness.... joking aside I'm amazed he hasn't managed to have a serious accident yet (at least one were somebody gets hurt).

He was driving with a few of my mates to a festival so was out in the country. empty road and in the distance he spies this massive pheasant pottering along in the middle of the road towards him.

He decides to floor it and hit the thing, but before he even gets close he manages to skid off the road into a ditch and get stuck, farmer had to come and toe him out.

I like to think that whilst he sat shell shocked in a ditch after roaring down the road that Mr. Pheasant eventually strolled past him completely oblivious that he almost got burst and came so close to death and continued on his way. Either that or he casually landed on the bonnet, shat on it then flew off.
