Sorry I disagree. The ONLY reason Mayweather didnt fight Margarito and NEVER WILL is.........
Floyd is scared shitless of Tony, he knows to get in the ring with him means byebye 0 & hello ass whuppin
I would of agreed with you prior to him taking Hatton to pieces so easlily; Not that it would come without more effort.
Floyd would fight the fight that Cotto needs to the next time around in order to beat Margo, perfect timing and catching him out just before the the end of his moves.

Didn't Arum offer Floyd $8 million to fight AM once? If they fight now, I wonder what Floyd would get?

Floyd had better offers, and apparently that 8 million was exaggerated and Floyd would have neve rmade that much for hte fight, but he made a lot more than that fighting Baldomir.

He is clearly past it but he may have a good style to beat Marg or he may have luck on his side. If he pulls it off I think Floyd will jump at the opportinity to fight him. It looks like Hatton-Pac is set and I doubt Floyd will want to stay inactive, while those two are getting all the media attention. He will want to get his name back out there and what better way than to fight an old fighter with a name in Shane in a WW title fight. On the other hand, if Margarito beats Shane I dont think We'll be seeing PBF-Margarito. This is all just a thought, but I wouldnt be surprised if it hapened.
I don't think I disagree with anything on this post.

I don't think Mosley is necessarily the easiest guy out there for Mayweather, if he fought the way he did against Collazo I think he may give Floyd some troubles. I mean Floyd already beat Hatton so I see him either facing Mosley if he wins or Pacquiao if he wins. More likely Pacquiao or Mosley first then Pacman.

First of all I don't see Shane beating Marg but if he did and he did fight PBF he WOULD get schooled. He is not anywhere near the man he was and I thought he was getting beat off Mayorga until the KO despite what the judges saw.

On the other side of the coin though, if Marg wins I see someone who can pressure Floyd for 12 rounds and bring out the best in him which I believe we would see and hopefully we wouldn't see a re run off Floyds Baldomir fight where he just bored us to death with basically although I hate to say it, his boxing genius. In that fight he was facing a tough limited boxer which I consider to be a good description of Tony also. Don't get me wrong I have no doubt that Tony has more quality than Baldomir and thats why I think he could bring the best out of Floyd. I also think that Floyd would see it as a good warm up for a possible super fight with Pac or even Hatton if he could beat Pac.

The way Shane looked against the wild swinging Mayorga, Margarito hits a lot harder and will go to the body.

Of all three fighters Tito, Oscar and Mosley, he had the most trouble with Mayorga, and going into a fight with Margarito looking that way isnt good.

I don't think Mosley will get stopped but I don't see him beating Margarito. He isn't going to hurt him or stop him.

So that leaves decision, and I don't see Shane doing that either unless he boxes and moves like Cotto did early on but whens the last time Mosley boxed and move.
