I aggree , with alot thats wrote above , it just seems Don King is easy to hate we also assume there's funny business everytime somebody gets a a bum decision in Vegas !

Im sick of hearing about poor hard done by Mike Tyson who was matched soft and lavished with $300 dollars ! Did Don King force him to rape that girl ? Don King showed errors of judgement but to suggest he wanted Tyson to fuck up is ludicrus. Don King promotes Evander Holyfield and is still making him money and lots of it , do you hear Holyfield complaining or Julio Ceasar Chavez or Tito Trinidad ?

Then we have the faceless HBO making millions out of fighters at the very top of the sport whilst the promoters like Don King and Frank Warren build them up and have them stolen . What about De la hoya - Felix Sturm ?Nobody ever says anything about that.
The Middleweight tournement that put Hopkins on top who's brainchild ? Tito,Holmes and Joppy all controlled by Don King , no ? HBo wouldn't touch those fighters,it was King that made that happen .
Hopkins career was languishing,he wasn't with HBO yet now he has the greatest of success .

What about Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe and Naz all built up by Sports Network !
Where were HBO when Naz was fighting Peter Buckley at the York Hall and where were they when Joe Calzaghe couldnt sell out Cardiff Castle and the Cardiff Ice Rink when he was boooed back to the dressing room ?

I am not a fan of Frank Warren or Don King we all complain about them not matching their fighters yet they take the risks put their end in show paitence when a fighter pulls out at short notice or puts a shit performence in and then fighters run off when the big bucks are shown .

I think it's time people grew up.

How many fighters get the shit end of the stick because they are not good tv? How many dodgy decisions on HBO fight cards ? Nobody ever blames HBO but soon as Don King's involved everybody's up in arms .
