The original HBO Tyson film with Michael Jai White playing Iron Mike was a pretty good movie. And so was Don King Only in America. I liked Million Dollar Baby even though it had its flaws.
I always hated the Rocky movies. Some of the storylines were ok, but the acting and boxing choreography was absolute crap. Of course, what can you expect when Stallone is the star.
Raging Bull was strange, it had it's moments, but it kinda put me to sleep.
I guess being a boxing fan makes it harder to appreciate boxing movies. Do you guys agree?
Anyways, Hard times featuring Charles Bronson as a back alley boxer fighting for side bets during the depression was kinda cool. Here's part one. It's in English, but with English subtitles.no idea why they did that.
