This is an article from Dan Rafael of ESPN from around the time of the WV fight
"West Virginia doesn't require blood tests for boxers to be licensed, but Morrison said his Arizona results were sent to the West Virginia commission as a precaution.
"They don't require a test in West Virginia, but I took one anyway just to satisfy them," Morrison said. "
Morrison medically cleared to fight Thursday - Boxing - ESPN
Its not required, but Allred wanted one on this fight because of the obvious issues.
Governer Manchin keeps all of us on a relatively tight leash,so Allred wanted it before he'd approve,so did Mr Figaretti.
Hell for low level fights you still get a phone call from Mr Allred, and thats if your meds check with him
It went through Lab Corp
Call him your damned self and ask him,I did.
I don't know. But I wouldn't wanna sit near ringside to watch him fight.
Yea, but dont you see the difference in a fighter bringing his own test results to a state, as opposed to a fighter taking a test for the state. Tommy brought blood test which he allegedly had in at a private company in Arizona. He didn't take any new test in WV.
Also, Allread now has to defend his decision to let Tommy fight, other wise he was acting recklessly. So I wound not expect to hear anything different form him.
