just watched that klitschko fight and i have to say that unless somebody comes through soon, then i fear for the heavyweight division. Klitschko, although athletic for a big guy, looks to me like he is petrified of being hit, regardless of the opposition. He constantly defies the rules by using his left to hold the opponents head as a range finder and isnt unlike ivan drago outta de rocky film. I think that his sheer size is the only thing going for him and that it cancels out whatever skill the opponent may have.

Haye will get beat, there is no doubt in my mind, Chagaev is the third best heavyweight out there and he got dispatched convincingly.

It's been a while since anyone has said Haye is too small, but he is naturally bigger than Chagaev. Chagaev weighed 224 last night but look how fat he was. He must have been carrying 20% body fat, Haye weighed in at 215 for his last fight with Monte Barrett and couldn't have been carrying much more than 5%.

He has grown into a decent sized Heavyweight like Muhammad Ali did after winning the LHW olympic Gold.

I agreed with some of the thing's the commentater's said. Wlad looked completely relaxed and in control the entire fight. That was about it. Chagaev was the best heavyweight out there and Wlad demolished him. Haye wouldn't do a damn thing except throw caution to the wind and just throw bombs for about 3 rounds ultimately missing everyone one of them. Punching himself completely out making Wlad take control and doing exactley what he did to Chageav and the rest of the fighter's since Byrd. Which is stand right in front of him jab the shit out of him seldomly throwing a right hand that will hurt him everytime he unleashes it,toying with him until Haye says ok I've had enough and quits on his stool like everyone of Wlad's latest oppenent's.

I do think it is pretty funny how many think Haye will knock Klitschko out. I mean have you people even looked at the connect percentage against Wlad in his last recent outing's.The man is basically unhittable. The reason for him not throwing combinations as he had done in the past is most likely do to his chin. E-man is not a dummy he is a world class trainer, there is a reason he is throwing only straight punches and that is simply to stay in his range and nobody else's. With him fighting like this it makes us fall asleep but keeps him high and dry where nobody can get to him.

I guess the next thing is when Haye shows his balls and actually commits to fighting and walks through the ropes rather than talking about it.

This was Wlads 7th consecutive successful defence since beating Chris Byrd. That's quite impressive as i see him fighting Povetkin next and making it 8.

With the division as it is and after what he said about Haye having to fight himself back into the line I see him making it to 10 without too many problems. Not many HW champs get 10 consecutive defences under their belts.

to be fair klitschko did what he had to do, hes very predictable tho and if u was getting ready for a fight against him ud fancy it big time. i think hes very good at what he does tho and people dont realise that, however after just watching the fight i strongly fancy haye. haye would land that right hand all day long and he only needs to land cleanly once and its zzzzzzzz time. ill put my neck on the line and say i think haye could make it look easy

#1 Chagaev was in very good shape...he wasn't fat, he just wasn't chisled. I would say his body fat % was probably 8%-12% if that much. He was certainly in superb shape as compared to the likes of Sam Peter, Cris Arreola, and Eddie Chambers

#2 Lot's of guys have the size to be heavyweight champions but very few of them have the skill to accomplish such a feat

That is preposterous, although a common complaint from the people who dislike Wladimir's fighting style.

So Wlad leaves his jab out there....Ali did it, he didn't get penalized for it, why should Wlad? Also Wlad can jab very well when he has his arm already extended and so he's not stiff arming the other fighter which is against the rules. Also when he uses his left arm to turn his opponent, that is also legal to an extent look at Foreman-Frazier.

There have been a ton of guys with the size to be great but not so many with the skill, look at Michael Grant a HUGE guy and he couldn't hang with the big boys. Wladimir is extremely skilled and anyone who doubts that either doesn't know boxing or is a hater
