I've never ever picked against Cotto. But this time I'll pick his opponent to win.

Both are great fighters. We'll see them alone in the ring and both of them will put on a great competitive fight. One guy is stronger, the other one is faster. Both has skills no doubt. But the sport is still a team game. And Pac's corner is way better than Cotto's.

    Pac by 10th.

I think Pac has got to be careful of that...Cotto is going to be the hardest puncher Pac has faced... And Pac has become a great boxer using a lot of skill and defence, but he's still got that natural instinct to get drawn into exchanges... I think mainly because he loves it.. He gets wrapped up in the excitement as much as the people sitting in the seats watching..

But in this fight he's gotta be careful of that.. One big Cotto hook or uppercut at the right moment and Pac will be on his ass.. And Cotto can really connect well, so Pac HAS to keep a lid on that stuff..... Although I have no doubt the fight is going to have fireworks no matter how either fighter is setting out to win...

I don't think this fight is going to have a single boring second.. Both fighters bring constant tension, drama, and action..

I think I would still go for Pac but I see this being very, very hard for him. DLH was a very good win for Pac and I don't want to take anything away from him but it was a drained Oscar. No real excuses for Hatton though, maybe slightly past his best and going out thinking this small man can't hurt me and being proven painfully wrong.

But Cotto to me hasn't been the same since Marg. Those bricks caused him a lot of damage, not just in that fight but long term IMO. I hope i'm wrong but before that fight I think he would have beaten Clottey much clearer than he did and Jennings was just completely overmatched, Cotto could have beaten him straight after the Marg fight.

The problem for me will be Pac's speed. If he can handle it without trying to get macho like Hatton did then I see him winning, BUT that latino pride just seems to take over so many times. My prediction Pac UD.

I was thinking that Cotto would get the victory in a tough fight, but many people just like you feels that Cotto is somewhat damaged goods after the fight with Margarito. And to be honest I really don't think he has recovered, so I'm changing my mind and going with Pac by TKO.

I like Pac i just think he's going to lose this one Cotto is going to be a lot harder than both Hatton and the weight drained De La Hoya.
Burst the bubble? The bubble that Pacquiao can't take a shot from a true WW? Pacquiao can't hurt a WW? Pacquiao can't beat a fighter in his prime? Pacquiao's speed can be countered/neutralized?

Are you a Brit by any chance?
