He adopted the boring shoulder roll of Mayweather but with less offense. I see his career to end like Jermaine Taylor.
He is way more offensive than Mayweather, he has as much personality as Cotto or Pavlik. He has already far surpassed what Taylor did with his career IMO, he's won more meaningful fights that haven't gotten the credit they deserved.

Thats because if your name isn't Roy Jones Jr or Hopkins nobody cares about the Light Heavyweights. He want to make splash he is gonna have to move down to Super middleweight

It's a shite division at the moment thats why. Nothing to do with names, fighting Tarver twice and Johnson twice shows how weak the division is rite now.

If "bad chad" wants elite status, he'd need to knockout Johnson and should have knocked out Tarver in the 2nd fight. Not his fault, but there's just no compelling competition out there right now...

B-hop and RJJ wouldn't stand a chance. That is the ONLY reason those fights haven't been made; at this point, I think B-Hop is a bigger cherry picker than Floyd.
2004-2008 he's fought DLH, Eastman, Taylor (twice), Tarver, Wright, Calzaghe, and Pavlik, back to back, hell if all fighters would cherry pick like that i'd be a very happy person, he's been horribly inactive, but hasn't been avoiding anyone
His inactivity is based on his cherry picking:

He wanted Ademek to fight for him for free, and because Ademek's style would be very easy for him to manipulate.

Chad Dawson has loomed for 2 years as the guy at 175, and B-hop will barely acknowledge him.

Right now--as of today--AT THIS POINT--currently, Bernard Hopkins is cherry picking money fights...

and Hell, after taking all those fights in 04-08, maybe he's entitled.

i wouldn't necessarily call it cherry picking, cause aside from his December tune up fight, he's still fighting top world class opposition at nearly 45 yrs old, he's cashing out for sure, but at least he's not pulling a James Toney and fighting bums and just getting by on his name alone

    James Toney.

if nobody ever said his or Ruiz's name on here ever again, it'd be too soon.

Is Roy Jones Jr. World Class still a world class fighter? Or just somebody else who won't fight Dawson.

People arnt buying because people would rather take their naps to a good western movie than watch a dawson fight! Im sorry but the guy is the most nonentertaining champion ive watched in a long time (in and out of the ring). Im not saying you have to be a big trash talker but if you have boring fights at least back them up with a flashy personality. He doesnt knock guys out and when he gets ahead on points he stops fighting for the most part. When I think Chad dawson fight, I thi..tha...thiiii....zzzzzzz!

Dawson's got all the talent in the world but he's just not that fun to watch. To me, he seems lazy and overly cautious in the ring. Somebody mentioned Berto, well I'm not a huge Berto fan, but his fights are much more enjoyable than Dawson's. He comes to fight.

I really enjoyed the fight last night after having expected a boring replay of the first fight. Dawson is a top fighter, no doubt about that. He needs to fight Hopkins or try and get in the Super Six if Taylor drops out, that'll get him more interest and credibility.
