I'm sorry but while I was impressed with Cotto's win the other night, Angulo steamrolls him and Martinez and Berto easily outbox him. At 154, he's too small. Foreman didn't test Cotto's resolve, at least not by the time his knee went out, but Angulo, Berto, and Martinez would, and I don't think Cotto would come out on top.

I can agree with Martinez outboxing him and Angulo breaking him down but Berto ? I don't think so.

He has good speed and sound boxing skills but his defense is questionable and his chin doesn't seem that good.

    Cotto would stop him imo.

People are underestimating Cotto already. None of those 154 top guns/elites are immune to liver shots.

Cotto should take some lesser fights and let Manny keep rebuilding the flaws that have gotten him in trouble...Manny is great at that...Look what he did for Wlad and Lennox.....He does not change much just a little tweak here and there and he brings out what the fighter knows already but for some reason does not incorporate it often enough.....2 or 3 fights and Cotto will be ready to bang with the big boys again

What I had hoped for was a Cotto win over Foreman but I had doubts he could overcome Foreman's movement. It's a good win for Cotto. A great confidence builder.

A more natural step would be for Cotto to rematch Margarito. Defeating Margarito would set him straight and I'd much rather see him face Pacquiao after healing with a Margarito win.

A win over Cintron is better than a straight away rematch with Pacquiao and it could also get him right enough to defeat Pacquiao, but even at 154 Pacquiao beats Cotto again if his head is not in the right place. Just having a real corner man is not enough.

Cotto needs another tune-up fight at 154 before facing the big name in the division. he is not impressive against Foreman. If Yuri was a big puncher, Cotto will be in trouble

    Average fights

Paul Wiilliams - A win over Paul would be huge for Cotto but it would be a risky fight. Williams would probably win but Cotto has a big chance and its a high reward fight.

Kermit Cintron - Cotto should win , but Cintron is a dangerous puncher . However, after the incident in the Paul Williams fight, who wants to see Cotto vs Cinton?

All these guys beat Cotto at 154.

I love Cotto and he looked great Saturday... But great against a guy who quite literally was shocked by his power early on. Cotto's legs looked good but any of the above guys beat Cotto at that weight...

Yes, even Mosley. His win against Mosley was his peak and he looked great doing it. Their second fight at Jr. Middle would be quite different IMHO.

Williams simply KOs Cotto by sheer accumulation punching.

Cintron's power hurts Cotto IMO. Too big, too strong and Cintron can box. Over the course Cintron will deal more damage and slow Cotto down.

These are all just my opinions, mind you all.
