When haye first won the wba strap it was a breath of fresh ir to HW boxing but now he has got to back it up in the ring.
If he does not fight the Klit boys then there are not many other interesting HWs out there.
I am sure our David will come good in the end and make the klit fight happen.![]()
Balls
Its hard to support Haye when he doesn't take the fights we all want to see, and is very inactive with a big time period between fights but still! He's English and makes fun fights so im still a fan!![]()

From the short piece posted earlier in the thread: "Haye earns as much money in the UK as the Klitschkos earn in Germany. Therefore, that makes reaching a deal much more difficult. We have to insist on a sensible financial agreement."
So, sensible means more than 50% against the guy who is regarded as THE heavyweight champ and who has beaten everyone else in the division. Haye is looking to coast along cashing out whilst avoiding the Klits until the very end. Pathetic really.![]()
Haye apparently has figured out that it would be best to make some money first in winnable fights before he cashes himself out against Wlad. Its a fair enough business decision but he's quickly gone from the heavyweight divisions last real hope to a full on bore.

All I have to say to the supporters of Chicken Little is "What would Frank Bruno do?" If Bruno was in his prime and had the WBA belt, what would he do?
Kind of ironic isn't it considering the so called reasons he avoided Vit last summer was the future commitments they were imposing. Imagine that, getting offered a huge fight with one of the top two followed by two more huge fights if he wins, or stuck fighting Valuev twice, Ruiz then Audrey as a voluntary
There's no way he can improve his bargaining position from where he is, his career could end with a whimper
Totally agree. What a charade and what a clown. All that talk only to get out of a fight not only once but 3 times now. First he was fighting Wlad, then he was fighting Vitali and now he has been offered an equal deal offer and goes and turns his nose up.
Totally lame. I'm sure him and Khan are texting each other career advice. Bunch of careerist gits!![]()
Actually. I think he never really wanted to fight any of the two, just wanted to be heard about and to make a name for himself in any way possible, now he'll go with the few HW he can beat and will run off with the money. I am almost certain at this point that he wouldn't even dare to fight a Thomasz Adamek.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Which is probably exactly what will happen.
The sad thing is, if he had got his shot at Valuev, then said he wanted to defend it a few times before taking on the big K's, no one would have minded. We would have probably understood his reasoning.
But because he has continued to call them out, he just look weak now.
I actually think he would make a fool of Vitali so I don't know why he can't set that fight up.
Do boxers actually give a shit about their legacy anymore or is it soley about cashing up as much as possible? I understand it's a short career, but you would think you would fight for free to have a chance of fighting the best there is and being undisputed world heavy champ??
I think Haye will fight a credible opponent like Adamek.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
I watched the Haye vs Valuev fight again the other day (somehow managed to stay awake again)
I forgot all about Valuev's ring entrance. What the fuck was all that about? He had his own mini rock concert before coming out!
Just wanted to bring that back up again!
