Hey everyone I've been following this site for around a year or 2 and I finally decided to make an account. Ive made a few post but i thought i should introduce myself/ give my views on the recent boxing world.

Pac vs JMM III - I thought it was a close fight first time watching it I felt it could have gone either way but that Marquez won by a 115-113 fight. Second time i watched it I felt it was a clear win by JMM

Margarito vs Cotto - I am picking Margarito to win the same way he won the first fight. I feel that the whole hand wrap incident has been completely blown out of proportion. He got caught TRYING to use hand wraps in a fight. But NEVER caught using them in a fight. Innocent Until Proven Guilty

Ortiz vs Berto II - I am picking Ortiz to win by Knockout . Both Fighters have good Motivations going into this Bout. Berto wants to avange his first loss and prove that he is better then Ortiz. Yet Ortiz is trying to bounce back from the loss to Mayweather and is looking to prove that he can still compete against the best.

Mayweather - I hate him as a person but i respect hes skills in the ring. the whole Ortiz fight was Bull.

Martinez - I think he is 3rd best P4P fighter at the moment. The fight with Barker i think made he look bad because of how highly people hold him because of his recent outings.

But I dont understand how one could judge Floyd's character unless they know him personally..

Boxers are kind of like actors in a sense that they have to play a part. It sells tickets and it's just good for business. Bad publicity, good publicity, any kind of publicity is good for actors and athletes.. It gets people to talk about them and that's why Floyd is the PPV cash king of today..

Finito - one thing I don't like about Floyd is that he is always bringing up race. He consistently calls Emmanuel Stewart an Uncle Tom. He called Pacquiao a yellow something and referred to him as Chinese. He only ever praises african american fighters. It's hard for me to like a guy that is as racial as he is. It wouldn't matter if he were caucasian american, philipino american or armenian american. It's just not me. Even if we assume what you're suggesting is correct that he does this all for publicity, then he is irresponsible and sending the wrong message to the public, and I can't like him for doing that.

With all that said, don't get me wrong, he's a phenomenal boxer. One of the best of this era. Maybe the best of this era.

Someone here says that you can't judge Floyd without knowing him personally. My Cambodian friend didn't know Polpot personally and thinks the guy is a piece of shit.
