That said, how could they have fiddled it if Khan had actually dominated all 12 rounds instead of allowing it to be close.

The article is interesting though, people should at least look at the evidence before slagging Khan off.

having said that i'd like to know what is going on here

i may have to watch the fight again to decide who i thought won, it was late when i watched it first time and id had a few beers and i didnt score it, i did think it was close tho and i thought with the deductions the result was acceptable

obviously the deductions were very dodgy

i dont think the deductions were all that bad considering the warnings. khan couldnt discourage him and keep him off with punches and was trying everything else, peterson for me was chasing him down, wanting to stand in front and trade, khan looked finished and was pushing his head down. thats how i saw it anyway

the warnings were bad too, peterson was very head happy and i couldnt see what else khan could do

He's still going on about it, seen him being interviewed a few times and its the only thing he mentions and thinks it wasn't even a close fight. One ringside a few weeks back he said he had watched the fight atleast 5 times and thinks he won easy and was robbed. Even Jim Watt who always favors british fighters had him losing after the point deductions. The man needs to shut up n sort his boxing out.

I agree. Move on or earn a rematch and prove it in the ring. The fight was close any way you look at it even without the deductions. I thought the deductions were a bit bogus and the referree was clearly biased but Khan should have changed tactics after the first deduction. As someone else said, he can learn from to fight inside better. Funny thing, Khan never accepted a rematch with Prescott for a variety of reasons. I wonder how it feels to be on the other side of the fence.

He does need telling. I'm tolerant and he's even annoying me with it now. He should have just been more decisive in the ring. What he's not realising is, that he shouldn't really even be in close fights with guys like Peterson if he's got any aspirations of leaving a lasting legacy, so the even if he managed to get the fight scored as a NC, we still all saw the fight and we still saw where he is vulnerable, and we still saw that he's nowhere near ready for that next level.

Peterson was chosen because Khan & Roach underestimated him, and thought it would be a relatively easy fight. That was the first mistake, the 2nd mistake was taking the fight in DC, in front of Peterson's homies, dumb fucking move.

So Khan ends up losing a close decision and being the douche that he is, instead of taking it like a man, he continues whining about it. I hope Peterson takes his sweet time giving Khan a rematch.

i am a khan fan, and i expect more from him. i dont need to look at 'evidence' i watched the fight. khan couldnt handle him. peterson wasnt ' head happy' he was just shorter, a taller fighters biggest problem is not being able to keep the shorter guy at range who favours the inside. if you cant do that your screwed if you want an example of head happy, think ortiz mayweather. khan in no way dominated that fight. he couldnt handle peterson, bradley would do the same, shorter guy, head in the way, bradley would still have him. thats whats great about boxing, same weight, different heights, physics and styles. khan had major height and reach and speed advantages. on paper he should have won easily. fact is he didnt, hes a sore looser and im loosing respect for him by the second. i want to see peterson bradley. khan can get in line as hes been found out again, only this time he didnt loose with dignity. he got KO'd as clean as you like against a poor fighter in prescott. took his lumps and improved dramaticly. i appreciated and respected that now he fights half decent against a better fighter and he thinks hes sugar ray robinson. he cant take it toys well oot the pram

I'm going to delete him off Facebook. I had to put up with update after update about him moaning about the Peterson fight. I wouldn't mind but Facebook filter out all the important statuses...like how windy it is and how people can't wait for the weekend.

Petersen won that fight by being in Khan's face throughout the twelve rounds and when he was about to be overpowered by Khan, he surprised him not only with head movement but counterpunches as well. He didn't let Khan breath and forced Khan to push him off and get foul deductions. He lost and as for the mystery man who cares. He was not in the ring and probably just bullied his way to a better seat. Enough with the conspiracy theories because Khan's bitchng and moaning is over the edge.
