    For me, I don't think a kid of 17 belongs in a professional ring, LET ALONE fighting a guy damn near 30. Your brain doesn't stop developing until 19-20, and at 17 (obviously with some exception) you don't really have your "man strength" yet. I don't think a guy should go pro until 19 at the earliest.

    Wilfredo Benitez was fighting pro while he was a teenager. We always bring that up as a good thing... but look at the condition he was in in his 40s...

    This was a 12 rounder too.
    Like VD stated...surely for a 17 year old kid and in his 6th fight its too much too soon..?
