Default GGG v Nobuhiro Ishida. 31-3-2013

You may remember Ishida as the guy that knocked out James Kirkland within a round.

Since then he's won 1 by TKO and lost 2 decisions.

He will be a massive underdog but he has proven that if he lands flush, there is a chance you'll go away, even though he has something like 26% knockout ratio from his 34 fights, plus he has never been stopped.

Still I have to say that I don't believe that GGG should be fighting people who are coming off of 2 successive defeats.

Just checking the Sky TV guide and Boxnation have something on their schedule from 7pm called "Live - World Title Boxing". Other than Bellew on Sky, there is no other big fights in Europe around that time so I suspect Golovkin vs. Ishida is what is being shown. There are no details in the synopsis at this stage.

I metioned it in another thread, but the undercard for this fight is also good with Erdei-Grachev and Rodriguez-Maderna.

Solid chin, little pop and he shells up. Pray for Ishida. He'll need it.

Style wise, long punches he may frustrate him bit I can't see it going to smooth once his back hits the ropes.

Kirkland is arguably as hard a hitter as GGG, and look what he did to him.
