Question Re: Who next for burns?

To the knockers of Ricky Burn's what more can he DO,! but only win and he has some people
are never happy. Burn's is a descent nice guy, and he can fight never here him bad mouth trash
talking BS, coming out of his mouth.
What he is a roll model for BOXING, we need more Ricky's in this sport not like a lot of the loud
mouth shit bags we have in the sport.
We can pick hole's in all fighters records, can't we he never face him he beat him when he was on
the slide etc,! remember you CAN only beat who is in-front of you.

It never ceases to amaze me just how fast people are thrown under the bus. So he had a rough night so what? He had a rocky 8 months having fights canceled and a switch in promoters. He probably took this guy as lightly as we did never mind the style. He still persevered and showed amazing heart. Champions have bad nights. Its part of the sport. I'm sure at the time that Paul Pender had no business being in the ring with Robinson let alone beating him twice.

Burns just needs to keep on the same road map. He's got an optional now and he might want to use it or go for Abril or Vazquez. I don't see Broner coming back to 135 and he was all wrong for Ricky before Saturday and still is.

THey are thrown under a bus just as quick as they are put on a high horse. Seriously, people talk about Ricky like he was world class and giving him a chance against Broner. He has one name on his record, Martinez, where he fought well but struggled. He then looked good against average fighters. He was over hyped and this is what happens to overhyped fighters.

And Gonzalez was a big name? He was a fringe prospect. Lucky for Burns he was a fringe prospect with no heart. Vazquez is troubled by fighters who are stronger than him and have good power. That's not Burns

I didn't say gonzalez was a big name just that vasquez didn't look good against some no namer just as burns did last night

I know his style is loathed by many, and probably for good reason if I'm honest, but I think Vasquez might just be the best lightweight out there. I think he boxes Burns' head off when they meet. Credit to Burns if they unify with Vasquez next. If he were able to beat Vasquez, I would give him a lot of credit.

Burns was lucky in his last fight, he needs to have a rematch.

Contrary to what some B level wannabe posters think, Burns is clearly afraid of nobody and would beat Vasquez comfortably. I think he'll fight him next.
