It's not good but it's not awful considering the rest of his weak competition. Fres is ranked 34 in the world. If he takes on a top 20 guy next this fight is passable.

I think its laughable how he can go from his current level of opponents to fighting for the WBC title.

Agreed. I think you should need at least 2 top 20 wins and at least 1 top 10 win before you get a crack at a belt, and preferably more than that.
