Chavez shouldve never ever been in the ring. He is a joke. no talent, or work ethic. His father knows this. I guess they wanted to cash in on the name.

He has beaten zero elite fighters.

I do like watching his fight style. Lead in with his head, block punches with his face, crouch down and go face first into his opponents nuts, then lean his head on the other guys head and throw punches.

    what a fuckin joke

Chavez is really rubbish. What was with the slow motion lead with the head crap. What a freak. And the post fight interview? The kid is tripping.

He shouldn't go in the ring with anybody his own size who is half decent as he'll just lose again. His entire career has been based on getting down to 160, at least occasionally with diuretics, then putting on a quarter of his bodyweight overnight and then bullying smaller handpicked fighters.

He can probably get down to 168 and be carefully brought back and maybe even get gifted a vacant belt if he's still selling tickets and the networks still want to show him, but the next time he comes up against anybody at world level at 168 or above he's going to get beat again.

The fight on Saturday wasn't as enjoyable as Maidana beating Broner but it was something I've been looking forward to for years.
