Absolutly, most boxing fans, myself included prefer lower weights, welterweight is probably my favourite division at the moment 1 for the way welterweight fights are, and 2 because it is stacked with the most fighters.Originally Posted by ACEA

Yea ill give Wlad Klitschko credit shame about the stamina and the questionable chin but all the heavyweight nowadays got at least 2-3 weaknesses thats why anyone with a decent punch stands a chance of winning a title. I find the matches pritty hard to watch these days so i aint gonna buy into the klitschko hype cause i can see him going down like a tone a big sooner rather later

What do you think about Magarito. personally i really dont know how this guy has become so big. i mean he holds a belt but hes never really fought anybody and he his record is not the greatest. hes a big guy for the weight though but i can see mayweather dancing round him all night long.

He may well turn out to be all hype a la Jeff Lacy, but wow that dude is scary, powerful and throws SO much wild yet accurate leather, I don't think its all hype, but, I think your right, he hasn't beat anyone yet but i he has earned a shot at mayweather. Floyd turned down $8 million to fight him, I think he's scared.

I dont think hes scared he just doesnt want to take a risk before he gets a shot at Oscar cause thats gonna earn him some serious $$$.

Floyd shouldn't go barking up the wrong tree then complain when its a panther that jumps down and scratches him on the nose. He says if it makes dollars it makes sense, yet he's now rumoured to be fighting either spinks or baldomir for less money! I'm pretty sure most boxing fans would rather see mayweather fight tony.

We're in round 7th of 12 of the 2nd fight of the night, there's Soto vs Valle after this which I dont predict will do 12, then its Rahman.

WOW David Diaz has just knocked out Santa Cruz, after losing pretty much every round, good stoppage by Richard Steele, there's now THREE Diaz's that are big in the lightweight division, best one is Juan 'baby bull' Diaz IMO. That was a great fight.
