CC and to compare Floyd to Ali is ridiculous. Floyd's situation is far far far more reminiscent of Oscar's when Oscar was given the nickname chicken or something and then went on to take alot of dangerous fights...Floyd needs to do the same.Baldo is a step up from the last 4 YEARS?!!? but Floyd should still win easily seeing as Baldo is too slow to catch him so no threat there and does not have much power,so no threat there, where's the threat?

I'm not saying Baldomir is gonna be a threat but he is champion of the division. Braddock was not threat to Louis but Louis still fought him cause he was the champion. Floyd wins here & he becomes a two weight linear champion & can move on to either DLH, Mosley or Hatton. By dream fight from here would be to take on Hatton at 140 with both world championships on the line!!! Although I really wanna see Floyd get it on with DLH.

I enjoy watching Mayweather, but his record and hype is inflated. He has dismissed a lot of good boxers in his post fight comments. One person that I want to see him fight is Cotto. I have heard Cotto (through a translator) say that he would fight Mayweather anywhere anytime, but I heard Mayweather dismiss Cotto after the Gatti fight saying that he was too young. Never heard that excuse before.

I think that's what Mayweather really meant when he said too young.

you have to respect Mayweather for the way he has breezed through the divisions, but surely at some point he has to fight Margarito. I wouldnt put him at p4p no1 either.

dont forget that floyd was fighting a mandatory (and schooled him)
and margarito lost to DANIEL SANTOS a year later (how does that earn him a shot?)

and before you start talking about "ranking" keep in mind what happened with "hurricane pete mcneely"
he was NOBODY until they started talking about him fighting tyson..............
then the talk begins, and all of a sudden hes a top flight heavyweight and shoots up ALL boxing rankings
just like margarito, except pete was undefeated at the time and didnt have a loss to some crap ass fighter 4 fights ago

    its the truth
LMAO on the McNeely comparison--excellent analogy.

I dont know about slow but he could out manuver him....Shane is not in his prime anymore....At Mosleys prime I think no make that I know would have KO'd Mayweather at 147...Mosley was just as fast and PBF did not have the power to hurt Shane...And Shane hit harder than Judah!!!!!! Who had Mayweather looking tender from shots early on in their fight...

mayweather has tried in the past to fight mosely, many times.
different excuse every time, like shane mosely demanding 15mil or some other ridiculous nonsense
this has long been known to those who follow the sport

All I have to say is when PBF looses or hopefully gets ko'ed I will throw a big party he is too sure of himself and all in all I just dont like the guy, when he was at 140 he should have fought hatton, cotto, tzsu, and now at 147 he should fight Margarito,Collazo, Mosley, Baldomir and since according to him in an interview a few weeks ago in Quite Frankly with Steve A. Smith he is the only figther in the world able to fight at 140,147, and 154 maybe he should also fight Cory Spinks, Kassim Ouma, Karmazin, quartey. I really just dont like the guy.

think back when mayweather was at 140...............do you really think that cotto had a shot at that stage in his career?
mayweather has repeatedly called out hatton, hatton's camp keeps saying next year, next year

i agree about tszyu..........that would have been huge

at 147 hes already called out shane mosely, and was willing to come up to 154 to fight him mosely keeps making excuses

please explain to me, why the hell floyd would fight collazo?

as for baldomir, thats the fight thats happening in november, and you can go read every other thread to see why baldomir makes more sense than margarito

let him beat/become the linear champ at 147 before he jumps to 154

Bro I'd rate Castillo, Ndou, Corley & Judah as bigger risks than Margarito would pose. Since 2002 Floyds fought opposition with a 335-29-6 combined record compared to Margarito with 235-25-5. So whose fought the better competiton in the last 4 years.
Castillo perhaps but the other three shows you been readin to many of those Grand Rapids newspapers.
Bro Ndou was a great little fighter, he only lost a split decision to Hlatswayo who I feel is one of the best lightweights around today. If Ndou had remained active after that defeat he would also be in the mix at lightweight. Judah come on the guys got skills & would whip Margaritos a** with ease. I would even favour Corley to decision Margarito!!!
dude lay off the crack Margarito KO's Judah in 4
