Glad everyone here enjoyed my article.

Jeff Lacy IS one of the gentlemen of boxing. He's a nice guy and always a joy to be around. Boxing need 100 Jeff Lacys. I never understood why people don't like Lacy. He's exciting, the ladies find him attractive, he's well spoken and always seeks to fight the best.

Keep checking back with www.boxingmonger.com and www.fightnews.com - the two site I write for - I JUST POSTED LACY'S NEXT OPPONENT THERE.

It is a comeback if you get beat like he did. It's truly Lacy's own fault for losing that fight imo. He's not invincible and he learned it. He will be back but that aura is gone, hopefully that motivates him to be better.

He will bounce back, and hold 2-3 MAYBE the 4 titales b4 he retires, he beats kessler and everyone else at SMw (ba Joe atm) Taylor would be his biggest trouble, but if Taylor steps up, it will be to fight joe, and i don't see him beating joe at SMW so i think taylor will move and stay back at 160 leaving 168 for lacys taking.... hes got great power, brilliant heart, damn good chin i would think too, and he does know how ot box, just needs to put it all together... gl luck to young jeff from Florida

Who cares about a wannabe boxer like Jeff ”no boxing-skills” Lacy, who even cheated himself to the Olympics?

Every single time he fought a sub-top boxer Lacy has struggled big time!

Against Ross Thompson he was almost KOed and looked very shaky.

Omar had deserved a draw against Lacy, who he rocked a few times – but when Sheika went to Europe and fought Beyer he got schooled like a boy – Marcus could school Omar in every single round, so do not pretend that Lacy “no skills at all” would be better against a decent European guy unless his over the hill and unless Lacy gets all the ref helps he normally gets – he was gifted in the Syd fight (VERY VERY premature stoppage), in the Hollywood fight (also very very prematre stoppage), in the Robin Reid fight indeed ( I have in 20 years NEVER seen a ref helping one of the boxers more that he did Lacy in that fight) and even in the Calzaghe fight he brought his own ref from the US, who help him not being stopped in 12th round against Joe…

Do not expect much from Joe in Future if he fights EU guys – but if he continues to fight American SMW, then he would look good until the first time he faces a top EU guy.

Like it or not but Lacy is only to compete at American level – he get beats every time he takes on top EU Dogs :-D
