of course.. like theres no way roach could teach a left handed happy pacman too throw a hell of a right hook and right uppercut..
    exactly....good post....
Yet he can't teach a guy to stop lunging and bouncing into punches.
thats funny... roger mayweather cant teach floyd to fight like a man
Thats funny...he is undefeated...a multi-weight champ...p4p #1(has been on the p4p list for almost 10 years)...dominated nearly every opponent...lifetime record sits at 121-6...BUT like you said...he obviously fights like a girl.Just ask the 37 opponents and Oscar on May 5th.
dominated? maybe some would agree with me with this, but i really think that to dominate a fight, you should really fight not run.. do you think floyd fought with his heart?in all of his 37 fights he only had one rematch.. he rematched castillo coz he knows that castillo beat him.. and how many fights did he fight standing and throwing and not running for most of us here, we know that pbf doesnt deserve that p4p coz he never dominated.. he never stayed in one division fighting the best there is and then move on.. hes a multi weight champ.. but he never stayed in a weight class too long for somebody better to see his bum to the canvas..

Olympian, don't waste your time and energy in this type of argument. Trust me, I've tried many times as well. There are people on this board who will never grasp the fact that boxing isn't about standing flat-footed and trading big shots, it's about finding a way to win based on your strengths and your opponent's weaknesses.
Some people will always label finesse boxing as "fighting like a girl." They're the ones missing out.

This guy probably thinks Willie Pep fought like a girl too.
if you like finesse why dont you try figure skating. do you find finesse when somebody is out there to punch somebody in the head

do you see his name in any of my posts? we are talking about mayweather here and you say boxing is finding a way to win based your strengths and your opponents weaknesses. i agree with that. im only saying that mayweather's strength is running away from his opponent and his opponents weakness is failing to catch him.

OK, and of all the fighters in history, Willie Pep is probably the closest to Mayweather in terms of style. Their fight strategies were very similar. So if you think Floyd fights like a girl, then I assume you think Pep did as well.
If you don't feel the same way about Pep, then I'd be interested to hear what the differences were.

Can't agree with that. Floyd has won alot of fights in the pocket. Alot of those close exchanges between Castillo and Floyd, Castillo got the worse of it, just look at his face. Mayweather can fight inside as good as anyone, but he can use his legs to create space, so when you walk straight in, he can time you and get extra leverage on his punches.

Given all of Floyds boxing accomplishments...you still dont give him credit? From what I'm hearing is that any boxer who moves...is fighting like a girl.Wow.As for Floyd moving up in weight...its part of boxing! So what if he doesnt stay at the same weight??Someone answer this question...if Floyd hasnt fought any great fighters...name a great fighter that he can fight?
