I'm light heavy. Can go to middleweight with two months rigid exercise. Last time I had a rigid exercise, I weighed 150 lbs.
Last time I had some rigid exercise my wife got pregnant.

I really dont know why bruce quoted me for, i hope that rigid exercise comment he made wasn't a pick up line

I often wonder if I could boil down to to super middle and then rehydrate - but you don't really get that luxury when you weigh in an hour or two before you fight!

If I ate enough I could probably get closer to 195 and be a pretty small cruiserweight... not that that would be a good thing...
That's just it. I boiled down last year for a fight in a major championship, from 160 to 154, then ended up 156.5 the one morning and had to steam that off 3 hrs before the championship fight. Was in another world in the ring, echo-ey, dreamy, and lucky I didn't have a hard hitter across from me.

Now, it is all I can do to get and stay at 165 and not end up taking those risks again. Guessing I'll prob. end up a cruiserweight before I know it, whether I like it or not.

me, well i'm 5'11 but have a stocky frame and usually am in the 145-152 range so i guess it'd be either welter or jr.middle for me, the few amateur fights i did have were at welter
5'11 and stocky? Man, you are lanky, not stocky!

I'm 5'11 and 210. What does that make me? (Fat according to my midsection!!). I guess I am a heavyweight, but if I trained to box, perhaps I would be a light heavyweight or a crueserweight.

i said stocky cause i have a squared frame, don't have wide shoulders, and well not necessarily a really big guy, but at 154 i don't look like a stick figure lol

I straddle 2 weight classes, as I weigh around about 174 lbs, but sometimes I can go above 175 lbs & into the Light Heavyweight Class.

6'0 (182cm) and 245lbs (fighting shape being at 220lbs) yes I'm 25lbs above, but being that old doesn't help :-)

I've fought all my life in the heavyweight (since I'm 16 in fact, I weighted 200lbs at 16).
