I saw this video this morning on youtube. I was actually a little shocked to see it. Never did I think Mosley would ever say that. Also on the flipside, Nazim must be one hell of a corner man. Judging from the things I heard him tell Mosley in the Mayweather and Pacquiao fights, he jacks me up! He knows how to say the right things but too bad Mosley lost belief in himself.

Ok so based on that footage, do you guys think Nazim Richardson did the right thing by his fighter as a trainer to let the fight continue?

I mean Shane did a pretty good job of running/surviving for the rest of the bout but he still got touched up and hit with some solid punches throughout the rest of the fight...

I can't help but think that the between rounds are as much Hollywood as anything else these days and they just say stuff to add drama.

If Mosley wanted out then Richardson should have pulled him. But I don't think he really did otherwise he wouldn't have got up for the next round.

WOW i didn't expect that from Shane. It's time to retire, the old Shane would have never said that.

That's shocking to see. Mosley really had better hang them up, when you are wanting out of your biggest fight you probably don't have the desire anymore. The body is faded and he doesn't even want in. Retire Mosley, there is nothing else to prove.

I don't think the old Shane ever experienced such things... Probably thought, "so this is what all my opponents have felt after i've knocked them the f out!"

He only knows one way, and that's to battle through it like a warrior....

Time to find a new passion though as the guy clearly still has a tonne of it... But getting in the ring should be a way of expressing it anymore. Just for the safety of well being of fighters, they should walk away from the sport on a high, and with all of their faculties still functioning well..
