He couldn't have lost every second of every round against Pacquiao if he floored him in the 3rd.

46-47 on every card at the time of the KO. In pac's favor of course, but not like he was running away with the fight or anything.

Ask professionals how important luck is. Skill is important but so is luck.

Well if you subscribe to that, then EVERY KO punch is a lucky punch. It's either takes luck to knock someone out or it doesn't. We don't get to just pull out the "lucky punch" nonsense when our favorite fighter gets KTFO.

What kind of luck are we talking about? Being in the right place at the right time and signing with a huge promoter or landing a big money fight can have luck involved but putting your opponent to sleep has nothing to do with it.

Zou Shiming is a one lucky motherfucker in that sense

Marquez is just a master at what he does. Everything he does is carefully planned and executed.

I actually asked James Toney about " lucky punches " and guess what he said?

If the idea of a lucky punch is such a ridiculous idea why do you guys fanatically fight that opinion, obviously you pay it attention for a reason.

Another example of retarded PAC fans using any 3rd party information to validate PAC undoing and reluctance to take the test. At least add your source rather just typing Richard Schaefer. "PAC loves loves getting tea bagged" - Manny Pacquiao . Only in Pac's huggers world do comments like this become a valid remark

Why do we fight something we strongly disagree with? What the fuck kind of question is that?

I don't know what the fuck you're talking about, when I disagree with someone in a debate they are usually making educated points that I can understand but just don't concur, such as if someone told me that they thought James Tony was better than Bernard Hopkins, that is something I would disagree with but you can make points that would make that argument legit / Now if someone told me that John Ruiz was better than Wlad or Vatali that would be an argument so incredibly stupid I would not even respond.

So if my argument is so ridiculous and does not make since why the fuck do you respond.

An even better reason to ignore it.

Jerry either you love pacs nuts in your mouth or Marquez fucked your mom. How can a shot he has landed on Pac on many occasions be lucky i mean he put his all into his punches this time. Marquez has pretty much been robbed every fight this time he was going to be aggressive about it and it worked.

If something is ridiculous and you dare question it, this proves that it is true.

I know that this is true, because Jerry says it's that way and he is the authority on debating etiquette.

I'm not familiar with your argument. All I saw was you say that JMM's KO punch of Manny was a lucky punch. I didn't see you explain why it was a lucky punch, what made it a lucky punch relative to any other KO punch, what the criteria is for a lucky punch, ect.

I argue it because I don't think it is a rediculous concept, I just want someone to explain the above questions to me.

If I could get some kind of definition of a lucky punch, then I could either agree or disagree with it.

Somebody make it stop. Yeah I'm sure he used the term lucky punch.(insert sarcasm icon here) I cant believe how sharply boxing IQ has fallen. But of all other things I have heard over the years in the quite possibly mentally retarded category this notion of a "lucky punch" takes the prize as the dumbest fucking thing I have heard in over 40 years of following the sport.

Claiming that punch was lucky and continuing to should almost be a banable offense. That’s right because it’s that fucking stupid and the people saying it ought to join a yarn forum because they know diddly squat about even the most basic of boxing fundamentals. Again I don't think I have ever read anything so daft. The degree of stupidity needed to perpetuate such an inference tells me that the person suggesting it really has no business being on a serious boxing forum. Its beyond trolling its so fucking stupid.
