First off I will say that GGG is putting up some impressive wins. He is obviously powerful for his size. That's great. But how would it be justice for Floyd to fight a bigger stronger guy when we all know Floyd's punch power is topped out at 154. He is just able to keep guys at this weight honest and the rest he gets by on skill and reflexes. His last.. how many opponents have out weighed him? 154 is it. Just gotta be realistic. I'm sure many want to see him lose but we need not go overboard because of that. Let him lose in a fair fight against an opponent who actually belongs at 154.
Whats fair? Is making someone come in at 152 for a fight at 154 fair? Is avoiding young up comers like Thurman and Porter while picking on plodders who have been beaten easily before fair? Maidanas first fight at welter was 2012 while Floyds was in 2006 and has been at 154 before before Maidana was at 147.

Could Floyd even make 140 again?
Give it a rest. If Canelo didn't want the fight...he shouldn't have agreed to the catch weight. Floyd is really just a small welterweight...while Canelo has had no business to be at 154 for a few years now (Alvarez was 172 on the night of the Trout fight). 152 was more than fair.
Floyd would struggle to make Welterweight now. And dont give me that shit. Its like saying, if those 5 year old chinese kids dont want to work in sweat shop for 2 cent a day they shouldnt take the job. Floyd has the money so makes the decisions, is that fair? No but its the way of the world.

Im just pointing out that Floyd wont take on a challenge. He wont fight at other fighters prefered weights. Its pathetic and its why he is not and never will be TBE.

Floyd would struggle to make WW now?! WTF you talking about?! "Floyd has the money so makes the decisions, is that fair? No but its the way of the world." And your point? Floyd is in that position because he worked to get there...he earned his money and position. You make it seem like being a smart business man in a brutal business is to be looked down upon. And then you try to hide being a Floyd hater by making an analogy to a sweat shop?! Canelo Alvarez made the biggest pay day of his career against Floyd. If he cared so much about pride and being "fair"...his ass could have walked away from the fight.

Fair the wrong way to describe. Id fight Floyd at whatever weight for the money they get paid. But it does nothing for his legacy. I dont hate Floyd and if you read my posts youd see that I think he could be one of the best ever but because he doesnt test himself he wont be.

IMO opinion he would have beat Canelo at 154 without the catchweight BS but he didnt and it makes people ask the question if he could have or not. Same with Marquez, yes he beat Marquez easy but instead of fighting at welter he made a catchweight and then came in above that catchweight. This is against a guy who never came in above the lightweight limit before. The Marquez fight makes me think he couldnt make Welter again. He couldnt make it back in 2009 andit doesnt get easier as you get older.

Floyd certainly doesnt need the mo0ney and if he was really going for legacy hed be fighting harder opponents. THats my opinion and it certainly isnt me hating. I wouldnt be forking out to go to his fight this year if I did, I want to go see one of the best fighter of this generation.
