Ughh, I'm almost in tears for JMM. He is an ATG fighter and it breaks my heart to see a guy put on a master class like this against the supposed P4P #1 and get robbed like that.
Shit like this is part of the reason no one cares about boxing any more. Congrats Arum and Manny, enjoy the "win".
Talking about being willing to die in the ring pisses me off.
CFH that's why I said "all" not just you personally! I can't stomach that this guy is toted as some giant killer when his legacy is arum snake oil carnival barking horseshit
Every Marquez supporter is going to want to believe Marquez won this fight, I had Paquiao up by one round. There were a lot of even rounds because Pacquiao wasn't as aggressive as he usually is and Marquez style needs that aggression to gain an advantage. This was the worst fight in of the three. I really enjoyed Alvarez Presscott more, even though the skill level was far below these two.
That was one of the worst robberies I have ever seen. I had Marquez winning by 8 rounds to 4, it was an easy fight to score.
It makes a total mockery of boxing and Manny is horrid. As if he really thinks he won the fight. He should have marched into the dressing room of Marquez and given him his belt.
Very, very dishonest from Manny, the judges and also from the HBO commentary at the end.
Marquez was coasting and had no reason to press and possibly make a fatal mistake in the last 2 rounds. He was winning the rounds effectively with his clean punching and countering.
I am well pissed off with this.
yea it was a close fight either way, to act like its some travesty for marquez to lose a close fight is stupid
its one thing if u think marquez won but to not realize that all but 4 like rds were pretty much open to interpretation...
marquez did have the more definitive rounds tho
Didn't read the whole thread, ust came here after I saw the fight on a stream that was quite awesome but real shitty and I have to wonder: Is it the stream that was so shit and that I missed something important or Marquez won a 12 unanimous decision by a few rounds?
