Let's see we might hate guys like Maywaether and Ali because they surprised us by winning against heavy odds. Maybe someone lost a wad of money betting against the amd became angry when they answered their critics namely some of us. They are entertainers and we also have the right to see another act or predict their down fall but if you never loved someone, why waste time and energy hating them when there are plenty of talented fighters out there to entertain us. By the way, I am no fan of Floyd's but you have to admit he knows how to box and he knows how to win, Ali is in the past but he knew how to win but other people had other ideas for him, attacking his wallet after he refusied to go into the army.

25: he ran from carlos baldozar........for a full 12 rounds.

When did hatton promise Collazo a rematch??. Collazo said after the fight he wanted one immediately but Ricky said I don't want to start talking about a rematch yet and went back to jnr-welter.

Aside the fact that he is an elusive fighter and cocky, there are few people that can give credible reasons to dislike Mayweather.
Ali was hated for what he stood for outside the ring. He was also charasmatic, cocky and flamboyant. It is only after we (so-called boxing fans) see him in this sorrowful and humbled state that we come to adore and somewhat respect his accomplishments. Many promoters, boxing venues and handlers alike were fed off of Ali's Talent, as they are with Mayweather.
To all the all of the Mayweather haters LIST FIVE VALID REASONS TO DISLIKE HIM.

Well i named 12 but that doesn't matter but i'll bet all the Mayweather haters who say he is boring have never seen most of the fights on this list.

The Gatti fight was the last one that had the pulse racing, for me the Zab Judah fight was all style no substance, but the hype behind it kinda made it exciting. Not many gloves were laid on the other in that fight (no bad thing mind). Mayweather or the last 2 years has hardly been boxing gold though, from a fighting stand - point.

Who ever made this thread, you should never defend a character like Mayweather. Praise him for his skills, but as a person he has literally no positives, he's self centered, greedy, ungrateful, arrogant, rude, disrespectful, etc......

Think of a good thing to say about his character, I'm sure you can't. Would you want your son to be like him?

What about other fights ?? you see this is exactly what im on about people can tell me about obvisious fights like Gatti, Judah, but what about all the other fights i listed why wern't they exciting ??

I used to hate Mayweather but after actually watching his older fights....He hasn't half fucked some boxers up..very easy on the eye previuosly...

The only reason i have for disliking him is the trash talk before the DLH fight...

I mean common sense, if your fighting someone 5 weights above your original weight AND on the night DLH was a stone heavier you dont fucking slug it out with the guy.

..you stay on the back foot avoid a potentially KO shot from DLH and box your ass off.........

If Mayweather had just said before the fight i aint looking to slug it with DLH im gonna have to box to beat him hes a great fighter this and that, Who could have had anything bad to say?

After that I kind of liked him and wanted him to win against Calvo but gave a poor performance. Should have comed back with an awesome KO/TKO to show critics and fans that he still had something left but nope.

I just want to see Mayweather loose, loose badly! And see how he takes it .
