Ken Buchanan probably would have been champion for a good few years were it not for Duran.

Roy Jones Jr as good as he was, and is considered I think if he had been in boxing 12 years earlier, maybe 10 he would be considered top ten for best p4p after beating Hagler, Leonard, and Hearns. However, then again, he had the "oppertunity" to fight a lot of talent that he didn't, even if it was them who didn't want to fight.

Im sorry i cant agree James Smith would have been great in any era.
Terry Norris was a top fighter with only his chin as a weakness.

Walker Smith would have been great ( if he hadnt changed his name lol )

    Hardly a close shave but....

    tyrell biggs

if ever there was someone who was brought on to quickly it was poor tyrell.

Was 17-0 and advancing at a nice steady pace.........then BAM

He is fighting iron mike tyson in his prime for the world heavyweight championship infront of tens of millions of PPV viewers.

Never heard of poor tyrell after that

    Michael Watson

Very unlucky not to become a world champion. Great technician and although he lost to Mccalum he bounced back well.

Have to disagree back,Bonecrusher was in an era dominated by fighters he just wasnt suited to fight, but you drop him in to the late 50's,he'd have been murder

ERA DOMINATED BY FIGHTERS WHAT DOES THAT MEAN
IF YOU MEAN AN ERA OF FIGHTERS AS OPOSED TO BOXERS , THEN YOU DONT CONSIDER LARRY HOLMES A BOXER ??
AND EVEN MORE STRANGE DO YOU MEAN JAMES SMITH WAS A BOXER NOT A CRUDE BRAWLER
    PLEASE EXPLAIN ??
