I'm sure Khan will be up next for September and he knows it. He (Khan) supposedly will announce his next fight in 2 weeks. I would still like to see him fight Brook for the shot though. And I think Maidana will be a very live and determined underdog who might surprise alot of people with his performance.

Like who? He beat the only two names at 154, Canelo and Cotto. Lara? Tricky fighter but no name value yet. Carlos Molina? Anthony Mundine? Ishe Smith? K9? Kirkland? Who would care about those fights?

nobody is giving maidana a shot. why? he hits hard and in my opinion, beat khan. made broner look bad. and im sure he will give it 110% unlike others just looking for a payday. he will have the latinos behind him and ill even be rooting for him, and im american. maidana is a warrior.

he might be a lil slow, but pressure can sometimes catch up to a runner like fraud mayweather.
maidana will be training like a beast im sure. for boxings sake, lets hope for a changing of the guard.

The only people happy about this match-up are Floyd and Maidana.
    Theres nothing else matey.

Bradley and pac arent an option under top rank.

Garcia is under al hayman and might happen next year.
people are mentioning other fighters, all who can be argued either way

we were under the impression it was maidana or khan and the disapointing thing about it all for me is maidana has no chance of winning a single round (probably wont land a punch) at least khan could have been a bit interesting

Floyd made a better offer and Broner relented to his mentor. Maidana is far too slow to trouble Floyd. The end.

Mares is supposed to be on the undercard moving up and challenging Miura for his title. The undercard will be stacked with Mexicans/Mexican-Americans to help sell the Cinco PPV.

i agree another snooze fest. floyd takes broners redemption fight so that he can bore us to death.

Hope the Mexicans do not fall for it and the fight bombs and Floyd has to really test himself.

Hopefully the not-so-great main event means we get three or four great undercard fights.

Maidana did more to earn the shot anyhow, Khan can go fight another bum at home or fight his way into a big title fight
    no he dint

    what a shit fight
um beating Josesito Lopez (by brutal beating) then whopping "unbeaten" Broner dominantly > beating unproven Carlos Molina and barely getting by a shot ancient Julio Diaz soooo yea he did

hell Alexander should have been ahead of Khan in line for a shot against Mayweather, cause even he beat Maidana more dominantly, Khan wouldn't even be the favorite in that rematch, so the bitch can shut his whiny ass up
