I would say China and India are major industrial giants, there labor costs are low also they are
very poor on environmental issues, polluting there air and water all true facts, this is the problem
will growing economy's, very little regard for there environment they will learn the hard way we
did, it's takes years to clean up rivers and the air you breath.

But you alarmists go ahead, YOU give up your cars, YOU stop bathing, YOU give up red meat, YOU give up more of your earned income to offset YOUR "carbon footprint".....I will LIVE as I always have

I'll enjoy mocking your future slow conversion to the full Al Gore viewpoint over the next few years as the GOP gradually get there.
That first paragraph is just a tribute to how much of a fucking dolt you are. You're Mr. "The Rich Need To Pay Their Fair Share" ...... but you're alright with them using more energy than "their fair share" so long as they "want to save the planet".....how prey tell do you measure their "want to save the planet" is it speeches, is it tweets, is it making films about the Anthropogenic Global Warming disaster that is to come? Or is it something that actually addresses the situation they claim to be so motherfucking worried about? The logic (or lack there of) you use means a celebrity...let's say Leonardo DiCaprio for arguments sake. So Leo hops on his Learjet and flies around the world and never lifts a finger to "save the planet" but he still professes the importance of everyone else "chipping in" you're alright with that? You're alright if he take hour long showers and uses Styrofoam and even if he litters....you're cool with all that so long as he says "Let's save the environment".......how typical of your ilk

The "Socialism for all but the Socialist" line of thought goes environmental

Yeah wait for my conversion to the Al Gore viewpoint, in fact hold your breath...it'll keep you from exhaling that horribly dangerous CO2 that's killing our planet.
How big an individual's CO2 footprint is isn't relevant. Wealthy people are always going to use more energy than everybody else. It's what kind of energy they use that's important. Replace current fossil fuel energy with clean energy and nobody has a carbon footprint.

Some people, like Al Gore, want to create carbon-free energies while flying round in their private jets. Some people, like the Koch brothers, want to prevent any move away from fossil fuels while flying around in their private jets.

Al Gore wants people like himself to pay more for fossil fuels to spark the creation of new tech to replace carbon fuels. Once the new tech is created nobody will be warming the atmosphere when they fly anywhere.

If the only argument you can make is the private jet one then you don't have an argument.

America stupidly agreed to cut emissions right away whereas China will wait a few years if they bother to act at all....but yeah "triumph for Obama"

Al Gore is an idiot, plain and simple
China actually won't do anything until 2030
China have to start cutting emissions then. But they can't increase emissions as much as they would otherwise have done between then and now. They were going to be building one gigantic (100 000 tons of CO2 a day pumped into the atmosphere) coal=powered station every year till 2050 and they've now abandoned those plans. They're going for wind and solar.

There have been major advances in solar technology and also battery storage capabilities and we're expecting solar power generation costs to ahieve parity with coal by 2020 and batteries capable of efficiently storing domestic-produced solar energy in ten years or less. A carbon tax or even a decent cap and trade policy would create funds to boost this and other energy innovation and speed it along so that we can transition our economies out of hydrocarbons asap. Unfortunately we have a bunch of fucking idiots funded by fossil fuel firms trying to keep things like they are.
There are uncontrolled underground coal mine fires burning all over China. These fires emit more co2 into the atmosphere than the US.

By some standards, the issue of underground coal fires may seem trivial and even futile. While 80% of China’s carbon emissions come from burning coal, the amount of those emissions from underground coal fires is miniscule in comparison with the output of the country’s coal-fired power plants, which generate twice as many CO2 emissions as the United States’. On top of that, “there are cheaper ways to cut emissions” than extinguishing coal fires, says Kuenzer, citing the enormous expense and limited resources for addressing fires in mining regions, as well as the fires’ tenacity. “The problem of coal fires will only vanish when the mineable coal is all gone,” she says.

Under the new deal they made with the Obama regime Chinahave to replace 20% of their coal-fired power stations with zero carbon power generation by 2030. They've already started doing it and have scrapped plans to build giant coal-fired plants all the way to 2050. They're going to be cutting on an ongoing basis from now till 2030 -- they can't just replace 20% in December 2029. And before we get to 2030 there'll be more climate deals and new technologies that solve most or all of the problem.

No. We'll live as we always have, flying round on our jets and driving our cars when oil is $500 a barrel and eating meat when it's $200 a pound and moving to regions that aren't eventually uninhabitable and so on. You're the people who are going to get fucked over here. But luckily some of us are trying to help you even though there are vast numbers of idiots like you who are determined to shoot yourself in both feet.

Of course there is and you know what else there's growing evidence that draconian taxation oN developed nations and an over reliance on "green energy" WILL end Anthropogenic Global Warming once and for all!

All praise Grand High Master Obama, Benevolent Dictator for Life!
    So global warming does exist?
Yes and the ONLY way to beat it is via levying huge taxes on the developed world, allowing the undeveloped world to spew out more CO2 unregulated, 100% dependence on inefficient boondoggle green energy in the developed world, and massive wealth transfers from the haves to the have nots, and of course the ritualistic sacrificing of a virgin into a volcano at the equinoxes....that is the ONLY way to appease Gaia Mother Earth so sayeth the Lord High Earth Reverend Al Gore
I thought global warming was a big hoax? So you now agree with Al Gore?
Gore isnt the one who initiated this claim, rather he has a high profile as a liberal.
My point? The nations of the world are speaking out. From Greece, Costa Rica &please my boxing bro....check out Israel's stance and let us all know: has Gore forced them to believe it?
Lastly the nations who doubt are by some strange coincidence..the most industrialized on earth: U.S., China...
American and China just agreed to cut emissions. Another triumph for Obama.
Ok, let me be specific: not liberal America ,but as Sara Palin calls: Real America.
And the post below yours shows that China isnt doing anything more than saving face while smogging the hell out of their people.
And once again Israel has a stance as well. Are they on Obama's side? Gore's side. Against?Or on the side of acceptance that man is speeding up a natural process?
They really are doing something. And by 2030 there'll be many more deals, technologies and so on. Work is being done to solve the problem.

The Obama regime is funding new solar and clean tech companies and giving out susidies to various clean tech firms. Some of these will bear fruit.
