I'll give you this only. I did watch vie stream. Which is not the best way to watch. I got the fight downloading and will watch it again. Maybe my opinion will differ. But stream or not, those scores were bullshiit.
did one judge score it 118 to 110? That was bad. I think judges a scared to score rounds even now days.

Was a lot of trading so might have been hard to see who's work was cleaner/crisper if it was low res.

I bet you were calling him unproven before the Calzaghe fight weren't you

Truth is, it's what Kessler does next that will tell us how good he is.
No, if I'm honest I had not watched a Kessler fight before he fought Calzhage. We can both agree however Calzhage is the only elit foe faced by Kessler; and he lost that fight. And so he is not proven to be elite or you could say unproven right?

What a fight !! What a chin Froch has !! (Amir Khan take note) I thought Froch won, maybe not as wide as the judges had it but I thought he won. Pascal has fantastic chin too, but Froch's chin is in the same league as Magarito's (Again, Amir Khan take note) I was never really a believer in Froch, until now. The fact that his chin is so sturdy means that someone is gonna have to go 12 rounds to beat him. The bells will be ringing for Calzaghe but Froch leaves his chin too high in the air for my liking and as amazing as his chin is everyone has a limit to their punch resistance.

This was a really great fight.

Good to see people ain't getting carried away. Pascal is no where near a big time hitter.

Why on earth should the UK be embarrassed? None of the judges were from the UK, Froch won by 2-3 rounds anyway, so how the hell was Pascal robbed? Idiot

Well he got a clear and decisive win over current champ Anthony Mundine and boxed Librado Andrade's head off for every minute of every round. He demolished long time reigning champ Marcus Beyer as well.

You're really stretching it to say he's unproven. He's without a doubt the current number 1 at super middleweight.

If you allow me to get this stat in before ICB his last 5 opponents had a combined record of 152-5-2 and he won 4 knocking 3 out in the process. He's world class absolutely no question.

Default Froch beat Pascal fair and square

Froch beat Pascal fair and square but Pascal should not have been in that ring in the first place. He was not yet ready for Froch and it's a shame, because at 26, he has great potential as a boxer. That being said, with much better conditionning and a decent jab, Pascal would have won the fight.

    118-110 was a shocker of a scorecard.

What a fight that was last night! Classic tear up. I hoped for a knock down but to be honest they were two tough guys in there and that was a pleasant suprise!!!

Froch better not think he has an iron chin though... Pascal aint the hardest of hitters.

Does anyone else think Froch fights a lot like a younger Howard Eastman?

    Exactly Big H

VD is so predictable, when I first joined he really rubbed me up the wrong way as I thought he actually believed the anti UK/Pac stuff he comes out with. Now I just realise he just likes to wind up the fanboys.

Even last night when he reluctantly gave Pac his props he had to intentionally make spelling mistakes to give the impression he was very drunk when doing so!

It was one of the best fights I've ever seen.

It was the kind of fight that reminded why I love boxing so much.

When you have 2 evenly matched fighters of a good standard both willing to take a gamble in order to succeed, there is nothing better.

My favourite fight of all-time is Matthew Saad Muhamamd -v- Yaqui Lopez 2 (1980) & this fight reminds me of it in some ways.

This fight will never get the worldwide acclaim that it deserves because it wasn't a 'big' fight between two 'big' fighters & that's sad because it was a boxing match in it's purest form for me.
