similar happened to abrahams last opponent, just couldnt take the pain he had received on contact and was in complete agony and had to stop the fight

So you're saying had Vitali not landed a power punch Solis would have still fallen backwards and blown out his knee?

There's nothing wrong with that THEORY but the FACTS are the punch landed and then Solis fell down ergo it was a knockdown, had it not been a knockdown the ref would have waved it off as a slip and not started counting, but he did start counting and so obviously the ref saw knockdown and at the end of the day that's what counts.

Also watch the video and count the seconds. Its three seconds from the time Solis gets hit to the time he steps back. The punch might have stiffened his leg sure, if some pushes you it might stiffen your leg, if you lose your balance you might stiffen your leg, and if its weak it might go.

You can see here that when he makes this movement, he can't weight bare and stumbles backwards. So he's knee was hurt prior to him stumbling around

It simply looks like the punch momentarily stunned him, which is why he couldn't move his feet, then when he did move, because his balance was fucked, he injured his leg.
