But Pascal has accomplished absolutely nothing, aside from getting dropped by Pittman. Sheika, Reid, Tsypko, and even Manfredo Jr. are way better fighters than anyone Pascal has ever faced.
Lacy has fought the better names. But is just too one-dimensional.
I'm not saying Lacy is anything overly special at the moment (that opinion could change depending on the JT fight), but Pascal has done nothing that would indicate he's even in Lacy's class, let alone better than him. Based on accomplishments, which is all I can really go by, Lacy is miles ahead of Pascal.

I agree with you on accomplishments. Jeff is a former world champion. But as of late he has looked very dull and ask yourself this, If Pascal and Lacy were fighting this week who would you pick ? I'ld pick Pascal. Lacy's best days are behind him IMO.

I'd pick Lacy all day. Pascal doesn't impress me at all. He looks flashy against weak opposition, but it's all style and no substance. He was visibly afraid of Miranda as well, which may or may not be indicative of a confidence problem.

Anyone who picks Lacy to beat an opponent with fast hands and a modicum of power needs their head testing !

    He is sloooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

    He is garbage.

His fight with Mendoza is on youtube and he sucked asssss !

Pascal has done nothing to indicate he could beat Lacy IMO. If he beats Froch, or even looks impressive in losing, my opinion might change. However, until that day, I'll stick with my opinion that Lacy would beat Pascal.

It's really sad that you actually think this fight matters

He's going to have to get a move on and I don't think he'll leave nottingham and chase the bigger fights in the US , he's been saying it for years now a bit like Audley (although I think Froch has more talent) he needs to look good beating Pascal and hope he can lure Taylor over here.

Yeah, not to be harsh to Tam at all, but this fight doesn't mean a whole lot. Pascal is being tremendously overrated by some people here. If Froch doesn't impressively beat Pascal, I'll be disappointed.

I think there's more at this weight for Pavlik than at light heavy but I'd like to see Pavlik face Abraham before he moves up.A weight that should end up with Pavlik , Froch , Bute , Abraham , Taylor , Miranda all together at the same time facing each other Super middle may be the future not so sure about Carl froch though

I think if Pavlik or Abraham moved up they would beat Carl, as would Jermain Taylor, although Carl would have a better chance in this.

Apart from that Carl is capable of beating any 168 fighter out there, he just needs to prove it
