Its not degrading him, hes trained his abilities to suit his physical attributes. Its like saying Whittaker wouldnt be as good as he was if he didnt have good reflexes!

David Haye moves better then Fury in my opinion and has better boxing skills. In saying that he wont beat Wlad (and possibly Fury) because hes too small.
Haye would never beat Wlad because he's not good enough not because hes too small. He managedto get a decision against 7,2" Valuev!! Because Valuev was awfull!
So would Floyd not beat Wlad because hes not good enough? Not because hes too small!

Obviously you have no reason when it comes to Fury so Ill just leave it there.

Yes on paper he’s the heavyweight champion of the world but he most likely gets beat by half of the men Wlad beat because their size and movement won’t be a perfect storm like Wlad was for his body type and style. It’s that simple. If he fought like the guy he just beat, he might beat those shorter busier guys that Wlad did. I don't think he beats Povetkin or Haye. He's as tailor made for them as Wlad was for him. He has the tin but he’s not the best heavyweight. You also have to consider the division itself. He gets bonus points for breathing life into the festivities that’s for sure. That might be the most historic thing about it. Its fragmentation. He says what he means and means what he says and that's refreshing. No party line for this fella. I look forward to see if he's a one hit wonder or not.
A one hit wonder doesnt do what he did to the letter of how people thought he would win. Wlad didnt come in out of shape or underprepared. Povetkin and Haye are done on the world stage. Good name defences they may be for someone but I wouldnt be surprised if both lose before Tyson even has his rematch with Wlad.

Its insane how much Tyson is detested. You all cant stand him so much you think it was a fluke, a one hit wonder! What he did was sublime.

He will also be the only Britain to unify and become undisputed.

Maybe that will be by accident as well?

    Wlad is very very good.

Floyd would probably have a good shot of beating Valuev!

Ross people don't detest Fury, they are just being balanced and reasonable in their appraisal of his abilities. You may not agree but the further over the top you go the less credence your opinion gathers.

You have IamInuit's usual excellent breakdown of individual British fighters and all you can do is accuse him of hating Fury, when the guy is watching from Canada. Why would he hate Fury?

What are your thoughts on anyone but Fury? All you ever talk about is Fury and Eubank Jr. Imagine if I crowed as much as you do because most people thought Saunders would be a feather fisted flash in the pan when I was insisting he was the real deal years ago.

It's a boxing forum not the Fury fanclub.

It's pretty clear the majority of us regard Brook as no.1

Hardly surprising considering he doesn't just pass the skill/talent test he is also one of the major players in the deepest division in world boxing.

The heavyweight division is utter shit compared with the welterweight one. You wont find a single heavyweight in the world close to any reputable boxing publications P4P list.

I saw that fight, it was just an eight rounder. McDonnell was finishing much stronger (many thought McDonnell won). If you said then that both of them would go on to be "world" champions, with McDonnell being a genuine top 3 in the world, you'd have been mad.

You mean like the Ring who has a financial interest? Publications and the media are mostly made up of no nothings like this forum who are just expressing an opinion which is generally biased. How can people not have Tyson top over the rest of the mediocre champions when he is clearly the best in his division and beat an all time great to do it!

Check the boxrec pound for pound This is based on fact and a points system, not biased opinion.

Oh and Tyson did deserve the fight more than Haye as he fought in 3 eliminators and was mandatory for 2 of the belts! The only reason he didnt have a belt already is because Wlad didnt defend against him sooner! The only reason Tyson didnt have a win over a big name before his totle shot os because Haye pretended to retire rather than lose to Tyson.

The division may not be great but you still have to be very good to not get beaten for so long and he fought more regularly than most of the champs in the lower weights as well.

Compare Wlads schedule to Wards, Mayweathers and Pacquiaos Even Brook himself

Tyson was not only the only man to do it he did it easy

Boxrec don't have Fury top either. Which must mean they're "biased no nothings like this forum and all the other publications."

However, if you'd like to use Boxrec's P4P, it proves my point about how shit the heavyweight division is compared with welterweight. Boxrec have four welterweights in the top 10. Thanks.

Boxrec have the worst points system in the world for ranking fighters too. Absolutely cluesless, its just based on the opinions of the editors.
