All this 'Who will pay for it?' stuff is simple and it isn't the ordinary bloke working 40 hours a week for 1500 pounds a month nor the disabled this time. It's who should have been paying all along. The corporations, the tax scammer, the rich, the dead, etc.
And then more businesses leave or fold, more people out of work and the situation gets worse. Just as it always does. Corporations aren't evil, they employ millions of people
That's complete nonsense. The likes of Amazon for instance a) do not pay their taxes and b) hire people on the lowest terms and conditions possible. If they don't like it, they should piss off. Same with companies like Starbucks and McDonalds. They are bad for your health, have no respect for the country or the workers. Just get rid of them. Replace them with something local that will circulate money rather than siphoning it off and be better for you. Time for change.
Amazon pays well, McDonalds is a first job for millions of Americans. Most McDonald's are independently owned operating on single didget percents of profits. Every time a company buys something they pay tax. They pay taxes on real estate ssi, workers comp. it's a myth that companies don't pay tax dreamed up by the left. Five thousand dollars invested in amazon in 1997 would be worth a million today. Eighty percent of Americans have 401ks based in the stock market. These evil companies have made many wealthy and provide retirement via stocks. Your views are idealistic but not based in reality. States in America where they have low business taxes is where companies flock to as they make massive exodus from the high tax state. The one percent pay 80 percent of out tax bills

Amazon does not pay well. They treat their workers like cattle. They along with the likes of Starbucks use loopholes to avoid paying their share. You likely pay proportionally more in tax than they do. Yet still corporation taxes go down and it's still not good enough for them. Tax them and give the money back. They come into countries expecting it all. It should be much tougher. Trumps latest brain fart will inevitably make inequality even worse. They don't care. Literally letting the swamp flow into the cities now.

In fact I would go further and say they are quite evil. Oh, but as long as the shareowners are happy I suppose everything is fine with the system. Corbyn wants to break all of this.

It's no different to what goes on in your or my own country. All I will say is that Moon Jae In would be a welcome next President, though I actually prefer a woman from one of the smaller parties, but she has little chance of being elected.

Beanz did simplify it in an earlier post

Slaves got a roof over their heads and food on a plate, the difference is we give people some paper notes to do it themselves and potentially end up with neither. They are still slaves.

Anyway, that is off topic. I would kindly ask the Americans here to stay on topic in this thread or go away. We have had to put up with hundreds of Trump threads and waffle, so the least you guys can do in return is let us talk about the election. Labour is cutting the Tory lead on a daily basis. Corbyn is out there daily campaigning. I don't know how he does it, but once you hear him you like him and what he says. You cannot say the same about May who is just a very horrible person.

how bloody dare you accuse Americans of not staying on topic. I am bang on topic here. May may be backhanded here with the early call, but I dont see what the FUCK one could say about her being a "horrible" person. She hasnt called for murder has she? Corbyn was doing such remember.
