LMFAO you got that right !!! hell , Zab's still got a guy named Pito Cardona to fight.. shit , Pito can crack, all this talk about Cotto is null and void until we see what happens with the Cardona fight. when you got a chin and a false ego like Zab has, everyone you fight is going to gun for it , and everyone is dangerous as hell , because once they know your weakness, the opponent gets stronger mentally and physically ! both in preparation for the match , as well as the match itself !
    cc#649....
Thanks for slapping me back to reality....
Zab still has to get past Cardona.....
We'll see how that goes, is that fight gonna be televised?
LOL.. yeah ESPN is going to carry that match !

I didn't miss it, I just think it's a double edged sword if he fought Julio and the same with Judah. If he beats Judah people are gonna say Judah was done or wasn't there or something like that. And if he beats Julio they'll say that he beat the guy that Quintana beat to get to him. Cotto isn't gonna get credit he deserves either way.

But I'll play devils advocate on the other side, if he won either of them which fight he'd get more credit for winning He would get more respect knocking out Julio then knockout out Judah(which has never been done to Julio) and he would get a lot of respect if he dominated Judah the way Mayweather did and then stopped him(which Mayweather didn't) but Quintana already did it to Julio and he just got stopped by Cotto. So If its man who beat the man like you said then why would Cotto take a step backwards beating someone his last opponent already beat fairly easily? As far as a stoppage in both fights getting back to the point.

And both of those things are dooable for Cotto.

Will I give him credit however he wins regardless? You're sure as hell I will.

But will he get the kind of credit he deserves regardless of how he looks? I don't know about that one. You see where I'm going with this? But I think if ANY credit was given to Cotto moreso, it would be if he beat Judah and not Julio but that's just my two cents on it. I think Cotto would beat Julio fairly easily since Julio will stand there to get hit, at least Judah can offer something different. And even if he(Cotto) got the same ending in both fights, I think its more impressive to pull it against Judah then Julio.

get me? I hope I worded it all right

I forgot where it was but I read that he is not gonna fight Cardona now and will be fighting someone earlier in April so he can have time to prepare for Cotto in June.

He was on ESPN just last week and didn't hint to the fight not beinng on. Honestly, he should bully his way past Pito. Pito was a good fighter 8 years ago at 135. Pito can pop but Judah hasn't fallen off THAT far.

I have not heard that , however that would make more sense... Cardona is a fighter that can tap that ass ! Zab's people would be crazy to fight Cardona with a Cotto match signed for good money.. shit. if the Cardona fight goes as planned, Zab's people aint doing their homework... Would be a great fan friendly fight tho !

Zabs not fighting Cardona,I'll find the link later but it would be too close to a Cotto fight,I think Zab is going to have an earlier tune up.Still ca't believe he is getting another fooking shot! How many more?!What has he done to earn it?

The same way people win title shots against Jorge Arce and Vic Darchiniyan but they don't fight each other and the same way Morales can have two back to back losses(one a stoppage) and get Pacquiao a third time without earning it It's called MONEY!!!

Arce and Darchinyan is an awful analogy. And Morales had already beaten Pac once,it''s called a trilogy in boxing, they usually are split

And he was undisputed champ by beating who? And what has he done recently? Oh yeah, lost like 4 of his last 8 fights, and now he gets another shot. This is BS and I sincerly hope Cotto absolutely annihiliates him. Give Zab his 4 rounds of fame at the beginning of the fight, let the Judah fans get excited that "Zab has turned up,Zab was giving Cotto fits" and then bang,a KO for Cotto with a left hook to the body.

I think you're talking too much as a fan of Cotto and not a fan of Judah. I think Cotto will pull through this fight, but just as people talk about "the versions of Zab that turn up" those picking against him also label it as an "he will have 4 good rounds and then Cotto will take over and stop him." Why can't people just say they are both two very talented fighters who have flaws and may the best fighter win This is going to be a good fight why are these fans of both fighters acting like they hate each other and they want their fighter to win to prove something or something like that. I'd rather neither fans come across as assholes personally

One thing about boxing...it's not exactly a science. Cotto very may well catch Judah in the body after 4 rounds succession of Judah.

But then again Judah may very well beat Cotto too. I don't think any ending is the ending thats out of the question both are fighters and both are FLAWED fighters. So this will be an exciting fight. neither judah nor cotto are unbeatable. Judah may have 4 rounds succession but who's to say it wouldn't be enough to stop Cotto? And who's to say that Cotto doesn't go out and knock out Judah with the first left hook he throws whatever the result the fans win

Only most Zab fans come across as idiots and assholes when they say things like this Judah will turn up or that one. And most Judah fans are hypocritical too,I mean they whine like bitches when they talk about their other fighters like Raheem not getting a shot and Morales getting one, and now Judah, coming off a ridiculously poor record in the last few years is getting another shot at the big time but its' fine? Double standards, hypocrisy.

And believe you me,when Judah starts running his mouth and if he tries any tactics like he did v Baldo(punching him a the touching of gloves, calling him names, dissing him and just being an asshole),Cotto won't just sit back and take it.

Cotto has nowhere near as may flaws as Judah and is rapidly improving.
