Capitalist and Bourgeoisie magazine oppressing the masses. Gandalf would not be happy with you.

Beautiful, I must talk about it with Miles. I read one about a month ago on a train to NYC and did find some rather biased articles. When I had a subscription a number of years ago I didn't see much of that. I like that it's US news written from a bit of a foreign perspective. I also like the news from around the world. I just can't take the New York Times. I am very happy to be getting the ECONOMIST MAGAZINE @Gandalf I can also keep my eye on Turkey.

I used to read it twenty five plus years ago when I was in Greece. That and the International Herald Tribune, which is the international version of the NYT. It was a great source of news way back when but it's kind of superseded by the depth and variety of the stuff available since the advent of the internet.

Brings back memories though just thinking about it. Sitting in Victoria Square with a frappe and the papers watching the ladies walking by. Wish I could go back to 1987.

Yes I know, I just put down the location to let Brock know I will keep abreast of his radicalization. Actually, he posted that video of him in an area during the call to prayer and he panned around showing the mosques, they were quite beautiful, Brock, if you read this do you know what year those mosques in that area were built. I'm quite aware Miles is on South Korea. I've been out of the Military for a few years but I maintain contacts and have a couple friends stationed there. I have spoken with them about doing an emergency rescue on Miles if the Shit hits the fan. They agreed to take him and his cat. And I'd do it for any of you guys, as a Marine, I will leave no Saddo behind. And yes, despite being a marine I do have army friends in south Korea.

As Master correctly observed, it is not a magazine that I would be into. However, I know Walrus has different tastes and so it is up to him what he reads. Economics is a gibberish field full of righteous people that exist to protect the rich. I don't buy into such a philosophy being an anarchic libertarian with slight streaks of socialism.

Well Miles, you probably know the economist is primarily a news magazine. At least the print issues I get are.
