    Default The Push For Gatti.....(Hatton)

    Evening All...

Been looking at the Welterweight division for a while now and working out what would be a good path for Hatton...

I really feel he has one more fight before Mayweather, as there seems to be so much pressure to get this fight on, and I feel its only a matter of time.

I think Flloyd will keep away from Margarito, in all honesty, for Hatton, its better if he did.

The best opponent for me, for Hatton, has to be Arturo Gatti.

A massive draw, would be seen by the mainstream boxing fans, and arm chair boxing fans of America, and as I think we would all be confident in a Hatton win, provides a real superfight against Flloyd Mayweather.

If we want the superfight, we do really have to respect both fighters decisions to stay away from potential slip-ups. Theres a massive argument against this, for me I have said they should take all comers, but still its not going to stop these fights happening after, but this fight has to happen very soon!

After this, fight, albeit there could be a trilogy, circumstances depending, then we can see the Hatton v Castillo and Margarito v Mayweather fights.

Again this is all looking past certain opponents like Collazo, who I think Ricky will find tough at first, but if he is the fighter we all think he is, he has to dispose of him, take the belt, go onto Gatti (World Title or no World Title) and take it from there.

Margarito would be best fighting Judah, if he is as good as we think he is, depending on how Zab turns up, if Margarito beats Zab, like him or hate him, Zab Judah is a good name to have on your record, which sets Margarito up nicely to chase the big names.

I really hope Hatton doesnt go for the winner of Corrales v Castillo, especially as I feel Luis will win and this is way to Risky for Hatton, simply because it would ruin the fight we all want to see...

    Hatton v Mayweather.

So to sum up, Hatton v Gatti has so much positives for Ricky, it would be a great oppurtunity for him....but things never go to plan in the world of boxing....

    :P

Plus Gattis fighting Baldomir in July, and that should by no means be an east task.. So Floyd may just cash in on DLH in september or some time.. If he doesn't fight MArgarito.

Yep which then leaves the SUPERFIGHT.

I think if most people were asked this side of the pond, Hatton v Mayweather is the one wanted more than any other.

We just need to see what Flloyd wants to do, and all I can see is ODLH and $$$$
