"The Pittsburgh Kid" got out of jail on bail a couple weeks back. I saw him fight twice and he was GOOD. Record of 38-0 and was being viewed as an opponent for PBF or Gatti the time he went to jail. It's funny, here's a clip of him kicking Mayweather's a** in sparring!

Back to that clip though he was beating the crap out of PBF! I remember reading about that a few years back... Problem is PBF has improved since and Spadafora has been in jail. Im a spadafora fan cause he's from my hometown of pittsburgh

Good luck to him, I'm sure he'll have been keeping himself fit in jail, and surely he's going to be hungrier than ever. He has a fan friendly style, and during the current 140 mess because of mayweathers movement away from hatton, Paul has a great shot at unifying 140, after cotto beats castillo and moves up. The biggest names about will be Castillo, maybe Corrales, Chop Chop/Witter winner, maybe Vivian Harris, there's a bit of a future at LWW, and plenty of guys to be gunning for in 07' for Paul.

Sparring is not fighting...PBF is 10 times better than that and you know it...If that's all Spadafora can due against a severely out of shape and uninterested PBF, Spadafora is in for it....How long was he in jail? I um.. know someone... yeah .. that was in for 20 days and lost 17 lbs...You don't get better in Jail.....You lose 2 days for every day missed. If your in for a month you need to train for 2 months just to get back to where you were.. so then your 3 months behind...If it was a year your looking at late 07....If then...PBF has been training the whole time...no breaks....I wish Spadafora all the luck in the world...but it won't help him or anyone else when it comes to fighting PBF...

Paul Spadafora was and still is garbage. He has no power, no chin and his defense is overrated. He should have 3 losses on his record. Victoriano Sosa, Angel Manfredy and Leonardo Dorin. He is no threat to Mayweather. Never was.

I think Spaddy was drained for that fight because he looked really dry. Too bad, he probably has lost some of the things that could have made him potentially great. He should move out of Pittsburg

I talked to a guy who was writing for the Pittsburgh Post Gazzette and he said that Paul was NEVER in the gym leading up to the Dorin fight. He would show up at the gym he trained at on a weekly basis and Paul was never at the gym...ever. The guy has a ton of natural talent but what good is it if he isn't in the gym?
