You are right, even as a big Kess fan I would rate the fight 50-50. Calzaghe had an amateur career just as good as Kess' and he is much more experinced. Kessler has his looooooong jab and power but it would be a very good match-up.

Truth of the matter is that Kessler has fought some good fighters...three to be exact IWO...just not any real great ones.

He's an asset to 168lbs & personally...I think that if Calzaghe moves to 175 & Kessler can beat Lacy...he'll rule the division.

But he aint be Lacy yet...& he aint gonna beat Joe. Period.

Again...I like Kessler...just being open minded.

Who do you have in mind when you say he's fought three good fighters? I count one in Mundine. Any other "good" fighter on his record was washed up by he met Kess. I would like to see him in there with someone better than Tsypko in his next fight, how about Mkrtchian for example? I'm not sold on Tsypko one bit.
