Very poor fighter, Mundine not bad hands still i think Kessler would beat him.
mundine really impressed me against green (even though green is a porr calibre opponent) IMO he has improved alot since the kessler fight. Its would be very close but im still itching towards kessler.
Green is a better opponent than a clapped out Eric Lucas (KO 6 Green) or a Brian McGee, Sakio Bika, Omar Sheika, Dale Westerman and a lot of guys the Europeans have been defending against.
I think Mundine has his work cut out to beat Kessler but you can't say his last opponent wasn't better than Froch/Beyer'Kessler's last defences. No disrespect to any of the boxers mentioned but if Mundine fought McGee or particularly Westerman he'd be pelted with rotten fruit by fans and mocked by Australian journalists.
His style reminds me very very very much of Roy Jones Jr. Down to the taunts and even the scratching of his nose in the post fight interviewMaybe someone will make a vid collage of Mundine and Jones

He wants to be some sort of Aboriginal Ali/Jones figure. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed though. His developed a strange sort of hybrid Ali/hip-hop manner of speech which sounds ridiculous as he's not that articulate and no-one else in Australia talks like that. Even Naz didn't sound as silly. That being said, he's probably the best pure athlete around middle/super middle at the moment.
He imitates Roy's clowning- he even used the behind the back punch that Jones used on Kelly on the guy he fought to warm up for Green. He's got the reflexes and a lot of handspeed but he hasn't got the variety of punches or the power at 168 that Jones had. Mundine is more defensive-minded than Jones was. He relies on his jab and and straight right to win him fights. Most of his big shots are counters as he isn't as comfortable leading.
Mundine can do whatever he wants...he can emmulate whatever Jones or whoever else does...but Wacko ARE going to agree with jangeorg for once...he fwocks with Kess again...he get's his ass handed to him.
If the injury that Kess just got doesn't effect him that is.
Never beg a 40 dollar hooker...specially after she's just turned down your mom's credit card!!
I think that Kess just beat a guy that Green knocked out years ago. Mundine just beat up Green and it looks like he did it easily. I did see something on youtube that showed the Kessler fight, looked a little like Mayweather vs. Judah. Mundine could beat Beyer because the Green fight was one sided enough that why should there be a rematch.
