Default I may have broke a bone in the back of my hand

Earlier today, I bumped the back of my palm on the edge of the bed of a truck. Now, the part on the back of my hand where I bumped it is swollen up a little bit, plus when I grip something or make a fist, the front part of my palm hurts. Now, although there is some pain, it's not severe, so I haven't gone to the doctor yet because I figured if it was broken, I'd know it. So, do you think it's broken, or is it just bruised is all? (I took a couple of practice punches on the bag with my hand and it didn't hurt, although I'm still not going to take a chance).

i have similar troubles quite often but ma hand usualy repairs itself in about a week, but stay off the bag for now anyway. If problems persist, go see the doctor.

Get some ice on the swelling aswell.

What you need to do is goto the doctor if ti is bothering you, the worst thing I have experienced in the gym is fighters thinking that something is just a bruise and the next thing you know they are missing money fights because, they have a broken hand....

I dont know what you train for, but, honestly, if you are a fighter, dont take any chances...
