Default "ALI" the movie did u like or dislike it???

i watched this ovie last night w/ my gf and was just curious what my Saddo brothers (& sisters) thought ...

i think will sith he looked more like Ali than people give him credit,u ust have to forget hes the fresh prince lol... for and the fight choreaograghy was impressive ...some...actually Many people ive heard say they disliked it though ...why? ..

i think it was purposely set in the 10 yrs from when he wont the title the 1st time and then 10 yrs later ... i think it coulda showed more fights like the frazier 2 or norton ...BUT i think it was a good movie besides ...the only thing i didnt like is it made ali look more kind and less mean than he was ....AND it mis portrayed Joe frazier ...Joe not loaned but GAVE Ali money and in the movie Ali turned him down on his offer ...but i think the liston fight was very dramatic and the fight scenes were very accurate ....

i liked how it showed the Rain season come only minutes after he beat george ...(which really happened)

    Ive never really like Ali

I respect him a great deal, but never been intrigued by his career...I know that sounds a bit shallow, but you cant help what interests you and what doesnt

With that being said I didnt watch the film.

Right, I will get that then and give it a watch, I must admit I havent given time to get into Ali, a shame really considering he is the biggest ever name in boxing.

Kind of shallow of me, but I am going to get this and give it a watch seeing as you have put it forward on good authority!

    "ALI" was a horrible movie...
It only became abit more interesting because i actually knew the history of Ali, but if i didn't know anything and watched it i probably would of wanted my money back.

Wash your mouth out you low life :P

    Just kidding

Seriously Ali (the fighter not the film) though is fantastic to watch. There was an old espn documentary made in the 70's called Ali Skill Brains and Guts that gives a chronology of all his fights and has loads of memorable interviews and press conferences with the greatest.

It's absolutely priceless, the guy was as funny outside the ring as Will Smith is, there has never been a more natural entertainer to emerge from any sport.

The way he adapted his fight style over the years as well to stay at the top when physically past his best, his unshakeble confidence and self belief and his spadeful's of charisma make him deserving of his title as the greatest.
