Default If Hopkins does decide to fight again, who should it be????

If Light Heavyweight Champion Bernard "The Executioner" Hopkins decides to take on another fight who should he take on?
Should he take on Roy Jones, The undefeated Welshmen Calzaghe or a second Tarver fight if Tarver even wants a second fight?

Hopkins vs. Tarver 2: INO, Tarver would take the same road except this time it would be a bit more competetive! Hopkins UD

Hopkins vs. Calzaghe: We all know that Hopkins is undefeated against southpaws, & INO Hopkins style & size at light heavy would prove too much for Joe! Hopkins UD

Hopkins vs. Jones Jr.: INO Roy's number one problem is that he is very gun shy & has a questionable chin! Along with Hopkins' overhand rights & straight right hands it may be another KO/TKO loss for Roy! Either way he would lose UD cuz Hopkins isn't that same fight he was along time ago & neither is ROY!!!! Hopkins TKO!

Sorry to have to say it... but the only thing Bhop should box against is his shadow... he's finished at the top of the game... got nothing to prove and has finished with his health intact and kept a promise he made to his mother on her deathbed...

I agree with AdamGB...Hopkins needs to ride off into the sunset like the champion that he is.

None of them...cept maybe Jones...& that all hinges on the Nards history book.

He'd kick the shat outta Tarver again...no matter what anyone says or what anyone uses as an excuse for Tarver's destruction.

AdamGB. Couldn't agree more...but if Jones hollers...I would expect Hops to answer no matter what...just for the record.

It'd be a wipe out too...I'm a fan of both...but it's time for both to let it go.

    Hopkins UD...maybe even a KO.

If anyone, Calzaghe. Not because he has anything to prove, or because it would make his legacy any better, just because I think he could beat him, and I'd love to see the fight

I don't think it would be an easy fight, whatsoever... I just think that Hopkins really is crafty enough to pull it off, and he does seem to excel against southpaws... of course Calzaghes pace would be a problem but he's not superman, although I realize some people really underrate him as well... He tires like everyone else, and Hopkins could hurt him I think. Hopkins would probably have to come on late to do it, Im sure X would lose alot of rounds if he were to win, and Calzaghe could win too.. I know it won't happen but it would just be such a great fight, Hopkins wouldn't dare take it lightly, and he seems to be rejuvinated almost at the higher weight.. I honestly have no idea, but it's a dream fight imo.

I would like to see Hopkins/Calzaghe. That would be such a monster fight. Each has the style to beat the other, it would be such a back and forth battle.

Calzaghe isn't really a big payday for B-Hop to come out of retirement to fight! I think Roy or Tarver too will bring him back cuz the money is bigger, but I'd like to see all three

Well, if the old bag is dead it's not as if she will be on and on at him to actually keep his promise?

The only way we know about this is beacause BHop has said he made the promise, he just needs to now be saying "no, no, hold on, I made a mistake - I actually said I will NOT retire" - the old bitch isn't going to disagree anymore!
