Yeah he said he lost on purpose so his dad wouldn't get the credit. In the "interview" he went prety deep into it. I REALLY doubt it, otherwise it a bunch of people deserve $50 back.

IT seemed to me that he lost on purpose. Rounds 4 and 5 of that fight he was tagging tarver then he just stopped punching. I have heard he trew the fight cause of his father and i heard it had something to do with the mafia. WHo knows but i do know that he could and should have ko'ed tarver in that fight.

Untill I see footage of Roy Jones actually saying this or hear it from a credible source like ESPN or HBO, I ain't believing it. It's true he could have beaten Tarver that night, but he was gun shy and just didn't want to take the chance of being countered and KO'd.
