raw power can beat skill sometimes ...toney is almost 40 hes 5'9 and Sam is what he is ...i'm surprised all these Toney haters on different threads r even picking hi to win ...and me being the biggest Toney fan here am worried for him....i think he shouldnt fight peter and houlda fought for a title ....

...it's not that I like Toney I just think Sam's skill level doesn't begin to compare with James'. Sam's punches are wide and wild and Toney is VERY good at rolling with those and covering up...as I said before I only worry about him getting hit in the back of the head

Sam Peter is still very wet behind the ears,and he has not improved or atleast fought someone that he can show improvement, James will frustrate Peter by covering up rolling and countering all nite... Simply cause thats what James does

 I like them both but Toney is not taking his boxing career seriously.  James Toney is just enjoying his life.  He is riding the wave of opportunity until he crashes on the shore of retirement.  If he beats Peter, Toney comes in fatter the next fight and so on and so on until he gets his a** handed to him and he retires with a few extra paydays. (I'm talking about the candy bar...they actually award him with Paydays.)
