it was a super left hook, but its a shame if its ended vargas's career, because love him or hate him vargas has brought colour and charecter to boxing over the last 10 years, his fights with trinidad, de la hoya, and mosley were good fights, its just that he lost them all, he did beat winky though

Very true but I didn't think he beat Winky. I think he's the thomas Hearns of his era, in his shining moments against the lights of his generations he puts on a hell of a performance but loses each time. Can't knock him for what he's done and the fact that he's 28 but he's an old 28 and whatever he had left Shane just knocked it out of him.

Yeah he comes to fight ! but really with his lack of upper body movement ( Back injury ) he is going to get seriously hurt if he continues on

This is the first time I'm seeing that left hook. Damn. this is the exact set up that Trinidad got him with. Slip the jab and Booyah.

Seems like he's always open for it. Vargas spent so much time trying to avoid Mosley's right that he forgot about Mosleys best punch the left hook

CC. I think Vargas was too worried about that right hand and his left eye. Because of that he was left open for that beautiful left hook. I didnt think Mosely had the power to do that, but he really nailed him.
